I love a customer who walks into MAC hoping that a little makeup trip will bring them something positive and fun to their day! I also love someone who walks in with an eagerness to learn and who would like to try on products they haven't tried before.
I respond well to questions- lots of them- questions about the company, questions about MAC products, questions concerning our policy, and questions that need an honest opinion about a certain look.
I like being guided right before a makeup application and it truly makes it easier when someone answers all questions concerning their likes and dislikes. However, I appreciate someone who will basically leave themselves in my hands, and who will trust me, without fearing the end result.
I adore customers who are smiling and who seem truly happy to be shopping at MAC. It just makes it even more pleasurable to serve them, and to take that extra step, that extra mile when assisting them.
Clients who walk away happy make my job a happy one! It really puts a smile on my face when someone will say " You're so nice, thanks for your help!" or " This is my favorites counter! I always come here." Even when they don't purchase anything, they walk out with something extra to add to their MAC knowledge and always come back for more!
I think the most pleasurable customer is one who shares the same MAC passion as me. Yes, I do remember that dc'ed lipstick from years ago and together, we can hope they bring it back. Or " Guess what is coming out at Christmas?!!!!!" and when you tell them, their eyes light up and together we oohh and ahh at the further releases.
This is the type of service I used to receive when shopping at MAC and it honestly just fed my addiction and my passion for the company more and more each day.
