I only use this one when I wake up with puffy bags under my eyes. I usally use Clinique advanced stop signs eye cream, or Cliniques All about eyes.

This a good pick-me-up cream, especially if you need to remoisturise the eye right before applying make-up. It's nice stuff when used appropriately.

I use this every morning when I wake up! I don't put on m/u before taking my son to school and this really helps de-bag my eyes. I have awful allergies and often when I wake up I look like I have 2 swollen eyes. Fast response is faster than doing an eye mask.

The only time I use it is when I wake up really puffy then it calms them down but everyday I need to use a more "wrinkle" type eye cream, and something for firming etc.

But its good to have when you wake up puffy and dont want to bother with spoons or cucumbers etc.

MAC Fast Response Eye Cream

Is the Fast Response Eye Cream really worth getting ? I have natural bags under my eyes and when I am sleepy or sick (which happens a lot), they are more pronounced. I was thinking about buying it if it's worth it. If not the MAC Fast Response Eye Cream, then are there any other recommendations on reducing the puffiness and darkness that the bags can sometimes get ? Products ? Home remedies ?

this is great for puffiness and prepping the eye area for concealer. I only use it in the morning, I don't think it's moisturizing enough to be used at night though.

There are conflicting studies about caffeine. Caffeine when INGESTED is known to degrade the connective tissue in skin, causing it to sag and wrinkle (one more reason why all that coffee and soda is bad for us!). Some studies claim that caffeine applied TOPICALLY is beneficial to the firmness of skin, and some claim the opposite. I do know many skins react to topically applied caffeine, and I have my own theory about the firming that seems to be caused by caffeine inclusive creams. Caffeine also constricts bloodvessels, and this can help with puffiness but is treating the symptom without addressing the cause at all.

This is my new favorite-can't live without product! I think it's great to use on the lid as my first base and then put my paint and or shade stick on (and then shadow). It really makes my lids look smooth and everything just glides on. You should give it a try before you give up on it!

Re: Fast Response Eye Cream.

Your eyes get puffy after you wake up when the skin around your eyes become bloated with water while you are sleeping. And since “depuffing” agents like caffeine work by slightly dehydrating your skin(*), you should not rely on them to help with your wrinkle control/prevention needs !!!
