Hello thereee
wavey.gif

well im thinking about asking for some MAC brushes for xmas, because i think it would be helpful to me (ive only used drugstore brushes), considering all the makeup i do!

I was just wondering if you guys could help me out with your top brushes. My family doesnt have alot of money so i dont want to ask for a ton of brushes and i dont want it to be over $100, even less would be preffered.
Im looking for eye brushes and i have NO clue about which ones to ask for!

Thanks so much in advance!

I really like my 252 and 217 for e/s and I use my 208 for all my lining now, whether it be shadow, piggie or fluidline.

I love my 275, it follows the eyelidshape really well, and it's great for the crease, and the blending, too. Another good advice is to visit an art supply shop, there you can find really good brushes for half the price. Both 217- like brushes, concealorbrushes, creasebrushes, foundationbrushes (same shape) and synthetic brushes for the paintpots, recently I found a eyelinerbrush for 11 sek(=1$50)!

lid/crease/highlight: 239 (this brush can do EVERYTHING!)
crease/blending: 224
cheek: 187 (although i find it's not the best for contouring)

My absolute eye brush favorites are the 217, 219, 222, 224, 227, 239, and the 252. I'd say if I had to put together the absolute essentials it would probably be the 217, 219 and the 239. With those three brushes you could do just about all of the looks that people showcase here. Obviously the more intricate the look the more brushes are essential but those three in particular can do almost anything! Plus, they add up to just under $75 USD so it's definitely within that budget you were considering!
