I really wanna try the Vitalumiere or the Prolumiere. I've never used it on myself but I applied it on my cousin once (Vita) and it blends so smoothly!

I've always wanted to try one but propylene glycol, which my rosacea reacts to, is in all of the ones I've checked ingredients on. BTW the 2 times I've had to ask Chanel directly about ingredients they asked for my address and sent them via...are you sitting down? Fedex!!! What a waste of $$ for them. Now I'm afraid to ask anymore! Does anyone know if they have a foundation that uses butylene glycol instead of propylene glycol? Also, I've heard that they don't run very light, at least in the US. Even MAC's new Prolongwear in NC15 is a bit dark on me. Does Chanel have anything lighter than that?

There is a new shade in the new formulation of Vitalumiere. 0.2 Diaphane. It will be light enough. I'm NW/NC10 and it worked for me. I just didn't like the formula. I found it never felt like it set and even with my dry skin it felt greasy or something to me since it never seemed to dry.

Vitalumiere is meant to give your skin a dewy look and keep it hydrated. As you said it doesn't set and some may be bothered by that but some will just love it. I've use it a couple times having both experiences, so I guess it truly depends on your skin condition and your special preferences.

i really want to try chanel mat lumiere, but the reviews on makeupalley are so-so and then there aren't many reviews i've seen when i searched here on specktra..
has anyone used it that has combo/oily skin? staying power? coverage?
i wasn't able to get a sample, because the SA at macy's said they don't give samples of foundation out.. boo

What are the opinions on the concealer? There's the Lumiere (the one in the tube like the glossimers) and the Lumiere Lift (that one has some "lifting" properties, as the name would suggest). LL is only $5 more than the other.
Basically, my MUFE Lift just isn't cutting it anymore. I'm investigating the MUFE Full Coverage and the Camouflage Cream, among others, and wondered about the Chanel options.

I finished a tube of Eclat Lumiere before. The consistency is light and it brightens the skin. However, I need a heavy duty concealer for my dark eye circles and this did not provide enough coverage for me.
I've tried the Life Lumiere before and it comes in a pump bottle, which is harder to control the amount you need. The website describes it as being able to smooth the texture of the eye contours.
I think I need it.
On to the foundation, I've finished a bottle of fluid Teint Innocent and I love the finish.
I'm holding on to buying a new bottle until I've tried the new foundation, Vitalumiere Aqua.

I've only tried the powder version of Mat Lumiere - I have very oily skin, and the staying power is about as good as it gets for me. Does anyone know if Lift Lumiere will work on dry skin? I like using Teint Innocence right now but I think I need something with a little more coverage.

I tried the Chanel longwear (name?) & while it looked natural, I didn't feel as though it gave enough coverage. I thought perhaps I could layer it, but I'm kinda getting tired of doing that. I should try the lift next time. Also, I didn't think that the lightest shade was light enough for me.

^^Well, if the lightest shade isn't light enough for you, it won't be for me, either. I might take a chance on the Korres one...it seems to be like YSL Touche Eclat, but half the price, and with all sorts of natural ingredients for brightening, tightening, etc.

The new Vitalumiere Aqua foundation is up on the Chanel Asia website. It sounds very promising. I hope to get some samples to try at my next Chanel purchase.

Has anyone tried the Le Blanc Illuminating Base? I'm thinking of getting it in a swap and I don't have the opportunity to check it out in person. I just want to make sure it's not sparkly but rather a subtle pearlized sheen. I don't wan't glitter/sparkles all over my face.

There are no glitters in Le Blanc Illuminating Base. It is one of Chanel's best sellers. I've tried samples before but I prefer my base to have SPF so I don't need to layer so many products.
Vitalumiere Aqua foundation has launched and I tried it. It provides light coverage, and it is replacing teint innocence fluid. I love TI fluid and I'm sad it is gone. The cream version is still on going.
