I am with ya... I NEVER would have thought this lipstick would have been so popular. I am betting that after the response it has caused, MAC will decide to make it permanent (at least I hope so!). It is sold out everywhere already, and going for double price. My counter was late to get the collection, and I am SO glad because otherwise, I may have missed it. It is the most beautiful color, and a real change for me. I love it though

I B2M for mine as well Audrey and I am SO glad I did!! I love it on you - and the dazzleglass is great over it!! My LW goes pretty pink on me so I used Comet Blue Dazzleglass over it and I just LOVE it!! I am hoping it becomes perm too....

I'm going to be honest; I wouldn't have expected Lavender Whip to look as pretty on you as it does, since you seem to have "warm" (as in golden) undertones to your coloring.
It looks fresh and beautiful, though!
By the way, I hope this larger font doesn't bother anyone; due to my disability, my vision isn't the greatest, and larger type helps a little.

I second that!
Lavender Whip seemed like such an odd color when it first came out, then, as people started trying it, the "buzz" started and grew.
It seems to be one of those colors that can either make a person look young and fresh, or like the Dawn of the Dead.
I'm fortunate enough to be in the "young and fresh" category, but for some reason I just don't find myself reaching for Lavender Whip all that often.
For one thing, it seems like a spring color, so I'm just not often in the mood to wear it during other seasons.
