I'm pale and here's what works for me with browns - they need to be cool toned, first off; the redder or yellower the undertone, the more difficult it is. If it's got a grey, purple or bluish pink cast to the undertone, then it'll work way better. Also, sheerer textures or at least something that's not heavy or greasy looking work better too. The browns this season that worked really well on me were Fancy Cat l/g, Spree l/g, Call My Bluff l/s, You've Got It cremesheen l/g.This is my first log-in since the new Specktra showed up, so to comment on what HerGreyness said, why is brown a popular trend? On nails cool, but I tried O lipstick which was really brown on my pale self and it looked like I just ate brownie mix. How do pale girls rock brown?
