MAC - Venomous Villains Discussion

I'll be getting my haul from this collection tomorrow.. YIPIIII... got a friend of mine to bring them from Singapore.. I know it"s very very late.. but I think it's worth the wait .. I'll be like a little child having a candy for the first time tomorrow...

why did you have to say that? I skipped without even thinking because "it's certainly too red for me"…now I want it. And there's no way I'm gonna find it in any store, sob..

I wore BR alone yesterday w/Violetta (yum!) and was surprised by how soft and sheer it is,
I used the 129 brush and swept it on my cheeks and forehead, etc.
It is really soft.
I think this surprised me because I was so busy wearing it with Notable (2yums!) I had not
formed a real appreciation of it.
Hmmm - I wonder if I should back-up???????
One of my local MAC counters has not sold out of it yet --- NOOOOOO!
I have not backed up anything from this collection even though I could put MDM mes away and focus on using
SB's Young Punk!

I do wish I would have b-up BoaA though.

Just a random thought or two on Venemous Villians:
I'm buying nothing from this collection for a number of reasons: 1)I just can't seem to "love" the villains as much as many others seem to; even though they're only cartoon characters, I find them creepy/repulsive, 2)since I do love reds and purples, I already have lots of products in those shades, and don't need more, and 3)I'm starting to shop in earnest for Christmas, so my budget is tight.
Also, why, oh, why couldn't MAC have included some Dazzleglasses in this collection?
A purple one would have been PERFECT! They could have even re-released "Boys Go Crazy," or a similar one.
And would this have been the ideal time to re-release "She-Zam!" or what?
It pains me that MAC doesn't offer a silver Dazzleglass in their permanent line, and I'd love the chance to stock up!

Anyway, the hubby and I just got back from a week plus vacation in Vegas and I got a chance to really wear a ton of my VV items and I have to say that I'm really happy with everything! I didn't get either of the MES from this collection (slight regret, but I'm trying to deal...doh!) but I wore the hell out of my Style Black MES along with items from this collection instead and loved it. I wasn't able to find any backups at the MAC Pro store (boo!), but I did get to check out and pre-order all of my holiday stuff so that was fun.
I've also decided that Revenge Is Sweet is my good luck charm! Right after I put it on I hit a pretty nice sized jackpot on a slot machine, woo! Now whenever I need an extra bit of luck, I know where to turn.
(I miss the smileys, too!)

My store had two Bite of An Apple blushes left and lots of Oh So Fair, Briar Rose and Her Own Devices BP! They also had a bunch of Darkly My Dear blushes. I'm so going back for them. Even my Dillard's counter had lots of Heartless lipsticks.

I never figured out before how to multi quote.. now I am totally lost
for each post you wanna multiquote, hit the "multi" button. then hit "quote" on the last one that you wanna quote. mine has completely stopped working now, so i have to do alot of "quote", copy and paste, etc.

With this new forum, instead of hitting "quote" on the last one, just hit "full page editor" on the right hand side of Reply form. That should do itfor each post you wanna multiquote, hit the "multi" button. then hit "quote" on the last one that you wanna quote. mine has completely stopped working now, so i have to do alot of "quote", copy and paste, etc.
