i like the mineralize foundation but they matched me a bit dark, so it just about looks okay in summer but in winter i look a bit orange, the formula is nice on my dry skin, and it gives a nice luminescence to the face

I love the Mineralize SPF15 foundation. NC15 is a perfect match for me and has just the right amount of coverage. Perfect texture for dry skin. Also very durable - I went out on Sat. with it set with Truth & Light powder and had to stand out in a rain storm for a half hour, then danced for a few hours, working up a sweat, and it looked perfect at the end of the evening (even the T&L powder still had some glow left).

FYI, I apply it with a 190 using a patting motion (sort of a press in and lift up with the brush), only using sweeping motions if necessary after everything's been patted on nicely, and it looks flawless and really natural - not cakey.

Thanks for the tips! I used this foundation for part of the summer and I liked it, but I found I could combine it with a moisturizer or my skin (which tends a bit dry) would start to break out. I'm not sure if that was because of oil, or because the combination of moisturizer + sunscreen + foundation was too much. I did like the fact that it gave a nice, light coverage to the skin- I'm over heavier coverage.

So Finally Flawless is re-launching the Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation! That is awesome! I have not yet tried that foundation.

Hmm - I always moisturize and use serum before using this foundation, but I wait a while for it to be fully absorbed (like however long it takes me to get dressed, 5-10 minutes) before applying. My skin is extremely dry though, and I never break out except maybe right before that time of the month, if at all. I'd say people with oilier skin than me might need to be a little careful - like maybe use a clay mask a couple times a week.

'Love that new pic, katred - you look a little like Siouxsie Sioux

This is a dewey texture foundation, folks - not for those who like a matte finish at all. Plus you can build it to cover brown spots and redness but I don't think you could get it past medium coverage without making it look wrong. I suppose it'd suck for flash photography too.

i do this exact same thing! i always apply my face stuff, the get dressed or do my hair and then apply foundation when my skin feels soft and not tacky! if you know what i mean by that!

Wonder woman...

The heart shaped blush I mentioned b4. No color label, no anything. Maybe just a test item.

Thank you!!! ^^^^^ I recall you mentioning the heart shaped blush a few weeks back. Now I must say I do like THAT particular packaging.

Although I am blatantly getting flashbacks of Happy Meals when they used to come with Happy toys and at a Happy price too!!!

Is that a beauty powder in the first pic? Could you describe the color? I think I have to get it!

It's A 3-color compact powder. It's like those couture compact powder. I heard each MAC store only get 5 of these and they are priced at $40 something. But nothing is confirmed yet. I'll come back with better pictures. My ability of describing color sucks. All I can say is it is very very very very beautiful..

Thank you so much, bbgillian!
