I was expecting an update soon because I remember last year we had some info last days of January first days of February. I also remember we had some info about To The Beach collection at first days of February.

I am curious about these collection the most, too!

I'd be equally happy if Quite cute was another collaboration with Sanrio or with Tokidoki, or, in fact, anything related to Japanese pop art/anime/manga.

I can't wait for the update now :) Beginning of Feb is going to be really exciting with Peacocky finally coming out in Europe and new exciting gossip about upcoming collections.

I won't miss MES or MB's, but I really love collecting MSF's...sigh.

Interesting. Is there a particular reason?
Yes Winthrop -- it's called losing money. The mse's don't do too well financially speaking, and companies have been losing money on overstock of these products.... the MSFs however do well and still sell but if you will note there is a tendency to introduce new product technology which doesn't require mineralized elements.....

mineral base products are commodities which are going up in price and will reflect on the products -- and the markets don't support those increases for Mineralized products. In fact, if you will notice there have been price increases almost across the board on most products.. and they will probably continue thru 2011-2012... because of global demand for oil/commodities reflecting on production.

Rayana if you were directing your question at me, I think I have covered the answer.. MSFs / Bronzers still sell well.

Cosmetics is all about money just like any other business.. you cut your losses by getting rid of lines which do not sell well.

HerGreyness....thank you so very much for this interessting post!

I am glad to hear that MSFs are still selling well and that there are hopes for more/ new MSFs!

I do not really need MES because I do not like them that much....I had several problems with the pigmentation and texture.
Especially with the ones from Colour Craft!

I am much more interessted in new textures and product technology....and it sounds as if we will get these soon

As a side-note to HerGreyness' comments above, I notice that the MES trios from ITG last summer are still available on the Canadian site. The MSFs sold out while the collection was still in stores. I can't see them making too many more efforts on the MES front, because there just always seem to be leftovers. For my part, while I have nothing against the MES, I almost never find it's worth the extra money to get those shades when I could find dupes of them in the regular line. With the solid colours, there isn't enough differentiation and with the marbled shades, there just isn't a way to capture all the nuances in an area as small as an eyelid.

The ones that I thought really worked were the Style Black and Venomous Villains ones... So maybe we'll see more like that? Who knows...
