Nora -- sounds like you had a fun day out with the lil' lady!! We ran errands and did a little shopping. My little one lost her wallet and $10 that was in it. Poor thing cried herself to sleep!

I am waiting for a store to do free ship so I can order Instinctive RA. I have been eyeing it and think I need it in my life.

Until then, I will play with all of my Spring goodies . . .

Have a wonderful trip HerGreyness!! I wish I could hide out in your luggage because it's -15 here. Picked up both Coquette and Jersey Rose today. Managed to resist Flamboyante, since I think I have dupes for it. Was pretty tempting though. I may have to go back for a couple of the polishes.

C ! Jersey Rose is next on my list..I have been trying to stay away from pinks for a bit with my newly light hair

but have been wearing berry and raspberry shades with neutral blush. I need to experiment some more since the colour is quite dramatic.. oy.

you got some great products of that I am sure.

Hi Ladies!!!

I love all of the stories about your kids and families! The hubs and I haven't entered that world yet, but soon enough. We have to be prepared for a sarcastic trouble maker (or 2), which our parents love to remind us of and laugh at. We were both big time handfuls, so ours will be FUN and we're actually really excited about that. All of you are such great moms I'm sure I'll be needing advice every step of the way and I know one place I can turn!

The road trip sounds like such a blast! I can only imagine the trouble we could all get into together. Watch out Starbucks, outlet malls, Chanel counters, shoe stores and handbag retailers...we're coming! Oh what fun that would be.

Speaking of handbags, my obsession with them has taken over again! So many gorgeous bags are out or coming out for Spring...I can't decide which of them I need. Oh well, at least that's a fun dilemma to have. I'm way off topic, sorry ladies!

HG - Have a fantastic vacation! You deserve it!

Almus I ordered Jersey Rose and already have Imaginaire.. now there are two Imaginaires, one is a glossimer and the other is the RAL ... so I don't know which you are getting.. but both are lovely... enjoy !

I know that we have mentioned it before and I truly think this is one of the reasons why SAs for Chanel get soooo mixed up and seem to be space cadets... some of the names for products are so similar or repetitive that it gets confusing.. even for addicts like us.

Here's sending the sunshine to all who needs it!

I wore the quint today, and it took a lot of work to get the colours to show up. I used it over Too Faced Eyeshadow insurance, my usual primer, and without any coloured base. I use brushes instead of sponge, and used all the shades except the 4th one. The final effect is pretty, subtle and elegant, not frosty at all. I'm going to experiment with a coloured base, maybe the biphase liquid e/s and paintpot or layer it over e/s and hope the colours show up more easily.

Meg -- I have been looking at all of the gorgeous handbags, too. And shoes, and clothes, and makeup . . .

Almus -- you will love Jersey Rose. I have the Imaginaire Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss and love it! Gorgeous pinky peach. I need a few more of those glosses.

Her Greyness -- what color is the Imaginaire glossimer? It does get confusing

Do I need it in my life??

MissQQ -- glad you are having fun playing with your quint. Everyone seems to be creating such gorgeous looks with it!

Good morning ladies! It's a freezing cold day here in TO, and for me, a typically crappy monday morning. I'm contemplating leaving work a bit early today.

At any rate, I finally tried out most of my spring items. I wore the quad, using all four colours. I think it looks pretty, but maybe not the greatest for my skintone. I'll probably get quite a bit of use out if it, because the three lighter shades look like they'll work well with a lot of other deeper colours, but I'm not overly crazy about it. I'll have to try using the charcoal green shade wet, to see if that'll look better.

Also tried Jersey Rose, and it's nice. A good throw on type shade, but not a whole lot different than the colour of my lips, but more vibrant. I think I'll need to use this with a liner that'll give it a bit more oomph!

Now the blush... oh how I loooove the blush! It is so insanely gorgeous, and from someone that doesn't normally do peach on the cheeks! It was love at first swipe!

I've also decided to go back for Coquette l/s, and will wear it in honour of HerGreyness! I think I've saturated my collection with so many paler and MLBB type shades, I think Coquette will be a nice addition.

Michelle, I can just imagine how sad your daughter felt after losing her wallet. Hope she felt better the next day.

And Megan, your post about us mom's and our kids was so sweet! When the day comes that you are blessed with a little bundle of joy, I'm sure you will be an amazing mom! You seem to have such a great energy about you! Some days it's not easy being a parent, sometimes their attitude can become tiring, I spend a good part of every day worrying about them, it's heartbreaking when they're sick, and our days are so incredibly hectic that DH and I often get very little time for each other, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! Most of the time, they're little angels, a ton of fun, and so, so, so loving, that I know we're doing something right!

Aaaand... you got me in the mood to check out handbags for spring!

I finally was able to see this collection in person, man my counter is slow in getting stuff! I went and treated myself to some Chanel. I picked up the quint as I fell head over heel in love with the colours and the texture. I also picked up Precious Rouge Allure which is a raspberry red (and you know I love this types of shades).

I was hesitating between either Espiegel blush or Black Pearl n/p so I thought I sleep on it for now. Do you girls think the blush is a must have if I have Nars Deep Throat and MAC Cantaloupe? It looked sooooo pretty in person. Or should I just get the nail polish and call it a day?

Shadowy, I really love Espiegle blush! I have another peachy one called "Call Me" from Rock and Republic which I thought was my HG peachy blush. But I really love the finish of Espiegle. It is more glowy on me, rather than shimmery (which I love). Go ahead and treat yourself to it -- after all, you did just get your engineering designation accepted

Misery loves company... I've been avoiding going outside all day. Better to stay at home and plan makeup purchases.

As far as your blush vs. n/p dilemma... Could you treat yourself to both? Seems like they're so different it would be difficult to make a choice. Personally, though, if I were forced to choose, I'd get the nail polish. From what I've seen, the shimmer makes it pretty unique (kind of like Moonlight Night in a nail polish). There are a lot of peachy blushes and it's likely that even Chanel will come out with something similar in the future, which would mean that you could get the same quality/ finish.
