MAC - Wonder Woman Discussion

They usually go up on the Tuesday before they're available in store. In the US, they're often up very late Monday night- around midnight- but in Canada, it can vary anywhere from overnight to about 9 on Tuesday morning. In either country, you just have to sort of keep checking when you can.

There's often a little online party here at Specktra where we all refresh our screens together...

I've never ordered online. Is there a specific time the MAC site usually puts up new collections?

Well that sucks. When I talked to my usual ma on the phone a few days ago he told me just to call him a few days before and he would put back and hold what I wanted as he always does. I will make sure I double check with him that he will indeed have mine put in the back. But he just holds it so it really isn't a pre-sale I guess because I don't pay until I get there and figure out what I want. Well except with VV, I had a very long list so he pulled it and when I went on launch day I didn't even look at it becuase I knew I wanted it all anyway because I'm such a Disney and MAC nut.

I guess it's like everything else it all depends on the store or in some cases the ma you happen talk to.

That sucks. I was able to pre-sale at my nordies counter. If not for that I would probably just be ordering online.

I'm not going to Soho Thursday to stalk the store now. I did an Urban Decay, Nars haul last night so that's it until the weekend. I can wait.

[/quote] I got 2 of the new shadow pencils by Urban Decay. I got Delinquent and Morphine. One is a deep, jewel toned purple and the other is this shimmery vibrant lilac I guess. It reminds me so much of my beloved Stars N Rockets. Also, I got the new Nars shadow duo, Bateu. It's a blue combo that is absolutely gorgeous. I didn't want to take any chance of missing out!

[/quote] Thanks for the link! The guy is a bit of a space cadet, eh? :lol: I'm not enticed by anything he showed from Wonder Woman. I like the blue mascara, but I already have one from YSL. Heroine lipstick will just bring out an undertone in my skin that I prefer to keep at bay. I wish the quad came in the packaging he had. I really hate the quad packaging for this collection. It's for the best since I just bought a blue Nars shadow duo, so I am done with blue really.

I got 2 of the new shadow pencils by Urban Decay. I got Delinquent and Morphine. One is a deep, jewel toned purple and the other is this shimmery vibrant lilac I guess. It reminds me so much of my beloved Stars N Rockets. Also, I got the new Nars shadow duo, Bateu. It's a blue combo that is absolutely gorgeous. I didn't want to take any chance of missing out!

The UD pencils sound pretty. I'll have to check those out. Yeh I was just saying how I need pull out my Stars N Rockets because I haven't given it much love lately. It's such a gorgeous color.

Did you order the e/s duo from the NARS site? I'm wanting the Nouveau Monde duo but I'm hoping it will come to Sephora as I have a giftcard.

For once, it's the shadows that are more appealing to me, whereas the lippies leave me a bit cold. Usually, it's the other way around.

I'm going to cut Marquise'D l/s and Emancipation l/g off of my list for now and I'm on the fence wtih Lady Justice Quad. I may end up with both MSFs, both Blush Duos, and Valiant Quad.
