Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in 2011 - Discussion

Anything kawaii is a complete turn off for me. I'm probably the only one that doesn't like the quad (I rarely warm up for light pinks and lilacs together, way too sweet, it's like too much sugar) and the blush (the heart is fine, but the colour is boring). But the hot pink lipstick is very promising, it sure looks yum yum! I must ignore the theme if this turns out to be kawaii, and see if there are any gems hidden in there.

the collection is based off the japanese designer stupid love so everyone can see what it going on. the whole collection is gorgeous pastels and st germain lipstick is the pink lipstick yall are talking about so if u cant get to mac store or pro store now is ur chance to get it is very very pretty

The photo of Candy Yum Yum looks way darker than St Germain. If it's St Germain by a different name, then I'm not interested

sorry i was looking at the wrong one in my update book lol. i looked at the wrong swatch. candy yum yum reminds me a little of SHOW ORCHID but a bit toned down my trainer had it on with cherry lip pencil and candy yum yum more in the center it was hawt!!!

I'm glad that candy yum yum lippie isn't St. Germain. That lipstick looked dreadful on me. The yum yum does look like a darker hot pink...which I love!!!!
I'm hoping for some lilac or lavender lippies as well. This collection is so going to rock my world!

Hopefully it won't have those 'cutesie' images on the product. If it's on the outer packaging at least I can throw it away

I don't mind the pictures. They are cute & colorful to me, but I did see the "other" picture(s) you are talking about. Why would that be there with all these other "kiddie" type stuff?

PS: Does anyone have an idea what the "Daisy" collection will be?

Nobody seems to know yet what the Daisy collection will be. Maybe to do with the 'Daisy' perfume, or Mary Quant's Daisy doll? Not sure how many collaborations MAC does in a year.

I've just noticed that picture... LOL! I was at work, when I posted that link, so I didn't have time to look through all the pictures.

I guess this is just a young designer and those are various works he or she has done, including commissioned ones.
It's not a website for little kids, although most of the images do look kiddy. I do like Tokidoki, but I'm not very keen on this stupid love.

I do think it's really nice of Mac to give young designers a chance to become famous.
