I totally agree, Gulabi is GORGEOUS. I wish I got two. GAT does do a funky read think, when I compared the two on my lips GAT has more purple and Gulabi is more pink, like a pure pink. I can make it pale or supre bright. It's beautiful. I know MAC will repromote this one, they HAVE too!
I definitely prefer Gulabi over both because of the texture of it. It's so smooth and extremely pigmented. It doesn't turn some funky red or whatever weird thing goes on with GAT. I just don't love it and it's not unique to me at all. Gulabi is the hot pink to end all hot pinks. Scandelicious takes layers to get it the way I want it and it's darker. Gulabi instantly brightens my face and that is always a plus in my book.

I mixed Mehr with Lady gaga lipglass and it was gorgoeus. It looked a lot like Lovelorn which I also own. Mehr and Lovelorn are like a shade different and in the same color family to me. Has anyone else noticed that?

I'm also trying to figure out what else Mehr looks like, other than Cosmo. I thought it would be Bobbi Brown Brownie, but I just couldn't find it. Hate that I didn't get a back up of this also. But I have a feeling MAC will have to repromote this also.

I wore Marvel for the first time today and it's very pretty. I love that there really isn't any shimmer that shows, but a subtle sheen. It's a deep, true purple. I wore it in the crease with the morphine shadow pencil by Urban Decay. It's a winner.

thanks katred!

i had seen these previously -- i know they are the same looks featured in the promo pics but found the product breakdowns a bit off...i thought maybe they weren't published by mac themselves?

I figured I could just ask in here since this collection featured fluidlines, instead of making a new thread.... what brush does everyone use with them to line your eyes? I'm very interested in just buying blacktrack and trying it out. I'm looking for something that will give me precise fine line.

I got possessed by a bizarre whim and ended up ordering Yash. I seem to be going through this phase where I am continually driven to get things that are outside my comfort zone, but I am really unsure about this one. I think I'll just end up doing a group of looks called "things I never thought I'd try"...

I used the MAC 266, which is a small angled liner. They also have a smaller one, the 208, which is designed for brows, and the 263. I don't own all three of them so I can't compare them for you, unfortunately! However, I fine a small angled brush helps to guide application and create a straight line, the point is great for touch-ups, and the angle is also useful for creating a cat-eye wing. There are lots of good options out there that aren't from MAC as well, if you're worried about price. :) Hope that helps!

Thanks Jenn. The cat eye wing is exactly the look I'm hoping to achieve. I like buying MAC brushes best so I think I'll go with the 266. Thanks again!! That really helped.

I use the Sonia Kashuk bent eyeliner brush. Affordable and easy to use.

I forgot to mention that MAC Pro South Beach still has Marvel, Rani and Saffron available. The number is 305-538-1088. Shipping is $7 I think. Good Luck!

Another vote for the 266 here, I'm not very good at precise, neat application when it comes to fluidlines (espescially when I'm a bit sleepy!) but the 266 is prettty much an idiot-proof brush! It's really easy to sweep fluidline on in one stroke using that brush

I think if Mehr is in the same color family as Lovelorn I can give up the search for it. Blue pinks are fairly easy to find and I am sure if MAC doesn't repromote Mehr, they will repromote something like it.

Yash and the quad were the standouts for this collection for me. I love how Gulabi looks on everyone else, but I have Milani Mode, Craving, Utter Fun, Raddiccio and Pink Burst for those moments that scream "hot pink" for me. And they really don't happen all that often.

If you make it work, please tell me how, because we're about the same skintone and recommendations are welcome to me when it comes to Yash.

I haven't touched it since the first horrible poo-lips-scenario it gave me, but I haven't gotten rid of it yet either.

I'll be sure to let you know. I tried it on quickly this morning when it arrived and I actually liked it. Of course, I'm wearing a brown shirt, so it's possible I just matched well. I'll probably use it in a look this week, so I'll post photos if it works... If I don't post anything, assume I failed...

The face charts seems to have vanished off the MAC site. They're not in the drop-down menu for "Artistry" anymore, at least as far as I can see. The only ones available are the cartoon ones for wonder woman on the collection page. It's a pity, as I've loved printing them out and looking through them.

^^^^ christine had a bunch up on her site if those are the ones you mean (they had designer names and a lot of Runway Red lipstick!)
