Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in 2011 - Discussion

Oh holy mother of MAC!!! More money to spend. I read somewhere about pro longwear cream eyeshadows. Not sure if those are the ones mentioned below. I am already planning on buying "Lady Grey" and a few of the new lipsticks that were mentioned on the face charts. I think one was One Of A Kind, Diva, Runaway Red and Prince Noir. I can't wait to hear about more Autumn/Winter stuff. Thanks for all the updated information ladies!!!

Yeah, fall shows always feature dark eyes and lips but it doesn't usually catch on. What's unusual though is the darker lips being featured this Spring/Summer so I think they really will be popular on the streets by fall. I wouldn't pair it with a really bold eye in my normal life but I can make it defined and a little smokey with a bit of extension without being too bold I think. The last time the masses wore dark lips, it was with thin brows and black liner only on the top lid. Lip colour formulations have improved so much since then. I can't wait to buy more dark colours in modern light-weight formulations!

haha i didn't even think about facebook, if it's on MAC's page then it should be a future product! i really should try to get some colour information in there, but i skimmed the page and only picked up on new names and products. might sort that out later on for you ladies

Runway Red lipstick - Bright Red
One Of A Kind lipstick - nude pink
Prince Noir lipstick - Dark Berry
Creative Energy lipstick - Sheer Peach
Raise A Glass lipstick - Sheer Pink

Lady Grey eyeshadow - slate grey
Moleskin eyeshadow - brown [via katred - thanks lovely!]

Pro Longwear Eyeshadows:
Keep Your Cool - dark steely brown [also described as metallic black pigment, maybe confused with Legendary Black?]
Thru The Night - navy powder
Legendary Black - black powder with a hint of gold shimmer
Sweet Satisfaction - light brown?
Carefree - light brown? [this and sweet satisfaction were blended to create a highlight at Behnaz Sarafpour so it's hard to tell which is which]
Makeup Your Mind - slate grey

Cream Shadow:
Smother - creamy blue pigment [possibly powder product?]
Blase - dark grey/black?

from what's on style.com, it looks ike most of these will be out in the fall [captain obvious here

] so we should see these popping up in collections in a few month's time. i remember last year My Dark Magic was one of the most talked about products, and it came out with Venomous Villains - so that kind of timescale

Thanks for the summary Spunky! I'm definitely looking forward to Prince Noir (ooh, what a surprise) and I want to know more about these Prolongwear shadows. Personally, I don't have problems with the wear time of regular shadows (although I use a base and Fix+), but a nice black with gold sparkles... I'm drooling. I'm also excited to see colours in browns and greys. As neutral as they are, they're almost uniformly flattering and I've actually always thought that, given their selection of other colours, Mac's grey offering was kind of lacking.
