I too was afraid of GL but my MA convinced me it would work. I'm a NC/NW 20 usually but I'm probably lighter considering my cold climate. I swirl all three colors together with a 187 for my cheeks and its like a warm glow, not orange at all. Then I use the lightest shade as a highlighter and it is the nicest sheen. My MA couldn't believe how good it looked.

Has anyone been talking about pairing Army of Amazons mascara with Ivy fluidline?

This is a 100% perfect match made in makeup heaven.

It just glows with color.

I have talked about it, and worn them together liba! Actually I bought Army of Amazons to pair with Ivy fluidline. And yes, it is a perfect match made in makeup heaven!

They are just incredible!

Does anyone know how long Opulash will last if it is kept in a box unused? Will they still dry out in a few months?

Came home today to find my Marquise 'd lipstick had arrived along with two MAC shadows (Aqua, Brown Down). The lipstick is really smooth however, since my lips were a little chapped (I hate winter) some of it settled into the flakes. It still looked really good despite my chapped lips. The color blends in very well with my skin tone and is the best 'nude lip' color I've found. I did line my lips with Chesnut lipliner to make my lips stand out a bit more. I may have to grab a backup of this if possible.

^ Mascaras are usually factory sealed to a certain airtight pressure, so it shouldn't dry out, as long as none of them were opened. Storage method is also important. Store it in a dark, cool place, and back-ups should last a really long time.

OK, I can't believe this combination never occurred to me, but now I have to use it! Thanks for the suggestion!

In theory, the only reason why mascara would dry out is if air got in the tube, so it should last a lot longer if you're not opening it. If you really want to protect it, you could put a piece of tape around the bottom of the cap to create a seal.

Ok. I know I wasn't going to get a gloss, but damn if a macy's gift card didn't silently whisper to me, "You won't even be spending any of your money on it. You could totally get it. GIFT card. You hear me woman?!?" so I bought Emancipation.

Yes I feel like a dork with my little hands and the applicator being big enough to do both my lips in one pass, but I ended up loving on this color so hard. I am tempted to get Athena's Kisses and Secret Identity now. I need to walk away. I really do.

[/quote] It's in selfridges stores and online now and everywhere else 3rd of march I hauled Mighty Aphrodite, spitfire, marquise'd and victorious opulash. Loving them all but think I'd be to chicken to wear victorious outside my house :/ lol

well i am shocked at how fast things have sold out from the selfridges site. not cool at all! i was meant to buy stuff for somebody when i got home to find wat she wanted has sold out. i feel bad that i ordered mine first thing in the morning so i will get my stuff but she wont get hers. i hope selfridges re-stock soon!!!

I got my WW tote today. I'm shocked b/c I thought I'd have to wait weeks. It's huge and true to the picture on Mac's site. The colors are vibrant and the material is pretty flexible. I was afraid it would be hard. Just to play around, I took one of my stuffed animals and put it in the bag. This stuffed animal is like the size of a toddler and I still had plenty of room left in the bag for what I usually carry. :lol: I like the short straps even though I usually prefer long ones. I feel like I am more secure with this because I always find myself paranoid that someone is trying to reach into my bag from behind. No point with this, though. Very happy with this tote.

LOL! Shontay, I think MAC should have added that in their description "large enough to tote your toddler" I'm glad it's a good size for that price. Post some upclose and real life pics for us to drool over.
