I love everything I got in my haul! I was lucky to recieve everything except Pink Power

lol but thankfully the store manager's my regular person so he promised to give me a call as soon as he heard when the shipment was coming in and to hold one for me

(May get russian red when I stop in for Pink Power, but im not in a hurry since its perm. I got flustered from cham-pale and it seemed similar so unless im told otherwise heroine is a skip)

Themyscira(for those of you who are wondering about this name, it's the traditional name of the island where Wonder Woman and her Amozons live)

Love everything (Thanks Mom!) and (this surprises all my friends at school) This is actually a light load for me, the economy and all in US it's not that were struggling but yeah gotta buddget more but hey better to be on a budget for mac than no mac at all

Other than the fact that they are both warmer-toned frosts, they're absolutely nothing alike. Flustered is MUCH lighter and a bit pinker, whereas Heroine is rich, dark and warmer. If I had to pick from my lipstick selection (and I don't have bronze-type colours as a rule), I'd say it was more similar to O, but darker and with a brown base rather than purple.

ok, a WW post...

I got a shipment notification from Nordstroms for Pink Power yesterday. I am sooooo glad to read some of you guys' good experiences with it. When I first saw that silly thing, my initial reaction was, there was no way in hell I would buy such a thing.

I am so glad I didn't listen to my first thoughts on this collection.

2 blushes, 3 lipglosses and 3 lipsticks, and an MSF later, (and a tote, woohooo. so excited!!) I'm entirely happy with what I bought.

Thanks for the kind words, ladies. It's so funny, because up until a few years ago, I had about three shades of lipstick I would wear- muted or dark red, berry shades and a couple of plum-purples (but nothing to vibrant). Now, it's like I'm compelled to get things out of my comfort zone just for the sake of trying them.

I think that Heroine would work on a lot of skin tones, though, because unlike some bronze shades, it doesn't have a strong yellow undertone- anything that pulls too yellow makes me look sick. (Well, except for I Want Candy from Alice and Olivia, but that's totally different.)

I'm a firm believer that makeup should be about experimenting and having fun.

i 100% agree with this! make up is fun! and at the end of the day you can always wash it off if your experiment doesnt go well!

ok pink power is 100% a winner for me! dispite not loving it when i got it i actually wore it today. and one of my work mates girlfriends kept commenting on how radient i looked today and that i looked lovely! this is the only thing i was wearing different on my face! so yay for looking radient!

That makes it sound even more amazing! I wish it was the 5th of March already

I just checked the selfridges site and both blushes and lipsticks are back in stock I'm thinking of getting AP as I love MA, for those of you who have purchased it what is your experience with it? I'm scared it might be too bright :/

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been MIA - I know I scared some of you! I ended up going to be with my family up north for the long weekend so my mommy could take care of me. I'm feeling much better, although still a little queasy, and I've developed a pretty powerful cough, but I think that was from before. I haven't been able to go to the doctor's yet, but I have an appointment for first thing Tuesday morning. I was trying to figure out what possibly could have gotten me so sick, and I think I've figured it out - when AP came in the mail, I also had Feline in my order, but when I opened it up, it was covered in mould! I must have inhaled some poisonous fumes - literally! I'm sending it back, but again can't call the offices until Tuesday morning to make sure I get majorly refunded No way am I paying shipping on this baby!!!

Thanks for all of your concern and well-wishes - I love you guys!!
