MAC Quite Cute Discussion

Ok girls, I need your help! Right now I have everything on my list except for two liners (well and the mascara, but I don't think anyone really pays attention to that. lol)

Thing is, I've had serious baby cravings lately, and the rule for myself is no baby until I move out of where I'm living right now, so my immediate goal is to save up to move out, so then I can start trying for a little one.

Anyways, enough of that... What do I NEED and what is kinda meh to everyone? Does anything look dupeable (I have an average sized stash now)?? I really want everything but that's not practical at all if I'm trying to save money. Help me!

we st germaine makes no sense if u have gaga viva glam 1....
quite cute/lavender whip you might have... if not i wouldnt skip. especially having colorful wigs :)
playing koi seems like myth with a lil more orange ( maybe if u have a gloss thats orangy or mix with morange or neon orange)
candy yum yum seems like girl about town, show orchid (or in my case ive got schiap from nars)
play time looks like that one from the WW collection and not very exiting (my opinion)


I think having a good pink lipstick and then a bluish gloss and orange gloss u can get a lot of combos.
I have morange and girl about town to mix with russian red so i have multiple tones
bubble tea looks like any other nude l/g and so does fashion fanatic (like cthru and all those lighter ones)

with the blushes i feel the lavender one is the only one that is unique, ive seen the other two way too much even in walmart like 100 dupes for mineralized type of finishes/blushes and there is always peach and pink.

I may not be remembering this correctly but it seems that someone said a ew pages back that these mineralized blushes are different tha the usual ones. I think it said these do not have that sheen on the skin that mb normally has. I may be wrong, just seems like I read that.

@dxgirl awe baby fever...so cute! Ive been having baby fever for number two now that my daughter is two, but I suppose I can wait another yr :)... On the topic of quite cute...I agree with piarpreet, the lipsticks plus giggly look like they could easily be duped. I think misbehave and sakra seem like the unique ones. Aand maybe the nail polishes if you dont have any that color. Now that the lip liners will be permanent you could probably wait off on those plus st. germain for sure.

Thanks girls! That really helped a lot.

I think for now I'll cut my list down to the quad, Quite Cute lipstick, Candy Yum Yum lipstick, Sakura blush, I ♥ U plushglass and maybe one of the nail polishes. That will l round out to $130ish. I was at $340 before. So I think that's a nice cut.

We'll see.

that's a huge cut! be proud! i think at this point the quad is making me excited the most. and then the blushers. they look so pretty! :)

The blushes are definitely is what is catching attention with this collection. I can't wait to see the quad in real life though to see how it compares to my major stash of e/s.

i shall be relying on swatches from you guys! i never get to see things in real life! and the swatches people post on here are awesome! much better than the images on the mac site! :)

Yes Ma'am! That is a great picture of you. Good choice.
I also love the swatches that other people post. They are so helpful, and give me a much better idea of what the product will look like in real life.

If it is any consolation I live online in asos, dorothy perkins, next, evans and new look. Your clothes are way more fashion forward without bending you over backwards than what we would have to pay here for the same thing but at the same time once I convert pound into dollars and shipping rate, I'm always greeted with sticker stock but I love it. My Mac might be cheaper but I have to save that $$ to shop in your stores.

I really hope the center heart doesn't make the blushes too shimmery.
