a few older (screwtop) eyeshadows need to leave my collection, but what's the going rate?

i kind of need to pay my rent in a week and figured i would see how much these three are worth. ive been out of the MAC loop for quite some time now after it being an obsession (ola_mango on LJ and envymyjealousy on MUA)

limit e/s is a medium matte orange, screwtop, used about 4-5 times
zone e/s is a dark velvet green with flecks of gold, screwtop, used about 4-5 times
solar e/s is a deep dark matte blue, screwtop, used about 3-4 times

theyre all really old, htf, limited etc...i searched for years before i finally got my hands on zone and i know i didnt get it for cheap. now its come time to part ways as i have too many greens, blues, and orange eyeshadows that i dont use too much anyway.

i also dont know what to price a parrot e/s pot used 5-6x, waternymph pot e/s, belle azure pot e/s, big t pot e/s, sunsplosion e/s pot, gold spill msf, and take wing e/s quad.
so if anyone has any input, please let me know! thanks :)

Honestly, I don't think you're going to get that much. I've seen screw tops go for about $60 never used. So, I have no idea how much you'd get. I just wanted to say, sorry I couldn't be more help, that I don't think you'll get much considering they're used.

sorry to hear of your predicament.. but I am also sad to say that mu is not an investment or really a collectible.. and cannot be sold for the prices you paid.

I am sorry. maybe you could put them on Ebay and see what gives..

best of luck
I don't think you're allowed to sell used make up on ebay. Try LJ? I see used make up for sale in the LJ MAC community all the time.

you can sell anything on Ebay.. used, new or maimed... the only thing is you MUST state the condition ...that it is used, used slightly, or whatever.

MUa sell their samples, and also their products used, half used or opened..
I think they allowed sales of used make up in the past, but they don't any more. http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/used-cosmetics.html

don't know the Ebay policies that well.. but as of yesterday I was doing some research... and yes, they still have, as of right now, products being sold which have been used or tested by someone.

check it out.. I only know that the Seller must make sure to include the disclaimer: used, tested, used once or whatever the story is behind the product.
They're violating the rules. They could be banned from ebay if someone reports them. I don't see why anyone would be encouragine the OP to sell used make up on ebay when those are the rules.

omg.. they are violating the rules

-- somebody call 911 or report them asap.

darlin, it's not Ebay -- it's the Sellers, little people who break rules nine ways to Sunday.. and reporting them to Ebay who is a huge monster corporation will not get anywhere.. as long as it's not Nazi stuff, child porn, or somebody's kidney.. lmao

Yes, Folie is correct. Selling used or tested makeup is not allowed on Ebay, and if you are caught/reported, your listings will be taken down. If you continue to do it, Ebay may suspend your account permanently. Used/tested makeup is considered one of Ebay's "banned/prohibited" items, along with kidneys (listed as human body parts), and child porn, or any porn for that matter. :)
Honestly, I'm just going to let it go. I'm sure the OP doesn't want to sell them on ebay now they see the rules. I'm going to be blunt. HerGreyness just enjoys being difficult. This isn't the first time this poster has chimed into a thread to add nothing of merit and be difficult.
