Yes -- we really need an "anything goes" thread! Which reminds me -- HG, was that the Armani eye pencil you loved? I looked and they have 2 different kinds (smooth silk eye pencil or the la femme long wear waterproof one). I couldn't remember which one you loved?

the Armani pencils are the Silk -- also known as the Transluminence pencils.. they are almost perfect !

^^ Thanks, will def check out the Silk eye pencils. I got a MAC Teddy eye kohl to tide me over and I like the color, but it tends to migrate. grrrr.

Oh, interesting! I thought it was the La Femme that you like! I have that one in the #01 and #02 - Nordie's now has the #02 back in stock somehow (I thought these were LE) - my mistake! Now I have to go check out the Silk pencils.......

Bonitinha.. Kohl pencils are soft pencils and MAC makes some of the worst for migating -- use some similar coloured es on top to set the kohl. or just use inside on waterline.. that's where they work the best.

I saw someone doing a mu with Teddy (a colour which is btw a lovely brown) -- and they lined the lower lid.. and I though.. roflmao, this is going to look just gorgeous in about 20 minutes of hot lights.. and indeed I was right

ok I am so confused on the Armani pencil too. I bought mine from NM & theirs were called "Day Proof" #1 Black & #2 Brown but the description for these were the same as what was on the Armani site.

But, I looked today, & they were gone - at least the ones by the description I ordered...cause I still have one in my saved cart & it says its not available. Did I get the wrong one? or, maybe they just changed the name?

Elegant, I think you got the same one that I did - from the spring 2011 collection - they were a re-launch from last year I think - black and brown - I love them - they don't move!!!

Yes - I think we did get the same ones. I just checked Nordies & I don't even see Armani in their beauty brand list...unless I can't see which is a real possibility.

DRAT!!! I had one in my cart and they took it out! I was trying to wait for 3X points....they don't normally do that, so maybe they didn't actually have it. I thought it was weird it would be restocked.

I got mine from the Armani site - had to pay shipping as that time I opted not to pay another $50 to get free shipping - they had very little on their site to select. Lame.

Yep, I will have to reserve Teddy for tightlining and waterlining. I got sucked in because I am always looking for the "just right" brown shade -- not too light, not too dark. But yeah, by the end of day with that liner, I will be looking like Baby Jane

I need that darned Armani pencil stat!!

Makeup story today: I put a l/s on hold at MAC on Saturday and they told me they would hold it for me until today (it was LE). So, my sweet hubs drives over to the mall on his way home from work for this lippie I "need". He gets there and they can't find it anywhere. I called because I was ticked that someone had sold it and asked to speak with a manager. They take my number and then lo and behold, they call me back telling me they found it. LOL Hubs said "they obviously didn't know who they were dealing with." Yeah, don't get between a girl and her makeup!!

Apparently they have a "special drawer" for holds that this dude at MAC didn't know existed until he called his manager about it. My hubs went back *again* to get it. Oh my word -- I married the right man. He really "gets" that it is important to me. So he gets the blasted Marquise D' lipstick and I open it up and said "isn't it pretty"? And he says "isn't it exactly like the shade you're wearing (Chanel Maldives with Bikini Peach glossimer)?". And it almost was
