I think she used to in the past, but now increasingly she gets them sent by Mac. I know she had the whole VV collection months early as she was invited to a blogger event beforehand.

I am still very excited by the 4 lipsticks I want. I think Quite cute lipstick would look better and show more color on paler skintones, as it seems to look very chalky with no color on temptalia...not at all how it looks in the tube.

I feel like I've rebounded from yesterday's disappointment, so I'm once again looking forward to the launch and to swatching these babies for myself. I'm also high as a kite on cold medication, so that might have something to do with my cheery disposition.

I'm not sure about others, but I know both Temptalia and Karla make a point of mentioning when they're reviewing something that was sent gratis, as opposed to something they bought.

What I find bizarre about this one is that Mac seemed to split what they sent- what Karen got is almost completely different than what Temptalia did. Interesting strategy...

oh yeah most bloggers say when something has been sent. usually it is at the end of the post or in t's case in a box underneeth the post. i feel like most people are honest when they are sent things.

and i guess it is cheaper for mac to split things up. although you'd hardly think that a few lippies would break the bank!

I am really not too sure about Playing Koi LS, It might wash me out a bit. So thats a definite looker when I go buy these items.

It might just be T's lighting because in this pic it looks more matte.

^ no.. this is Fuschia pigment put over any other fuschia ls, or Candy Yum Yum.. or over balm.

Well, well the swatches have me thinking Candy Yum Yum will look awful on me and Giggly blush would actually show up. On the other hand, Playing Koi looks like it could be pink or adobe orange. I am so confused...

Both the purple lippies are a must have for me! Everything else I am not so sure...

Playing Koi looks very pink in that swatch. I doubt that hot pink is Candy yum yum as candy looks more barbie pink to me if that makes sense. (I almost put "barney pink" ) haha
