Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in 2011 - Discussion

i have no idea if this has been mentioned yet, but there's a new (at least i think it's new!) brush for summer 2011 - the 128. i was shown it at a mac demo in college today and the woman said she just got sent it yesterday. it's an angled face brush with dark, natural bristles on one side, and light synthetic ones on the other.

there was also a new (or so she said, i've not checked the other threads yet) eye brush, same design but not angled called the 235. i really should have taken pictures!

Sounds interesting. What do you mean by it has dark, natural bristles on one side and light synthetic on the other? I'm imagening a 168 with the right half natural bristles and the left half synthetic bristles, that's so weird.

Those brushes sound amazing. I am actually in the market for some new brushes. Can't wait to see them. I just hope they don't cost a fortune.

Sounds like brushes to be used with cream products and since we're getting a few of them soon, makes sense I guess.

the senior artist at the demo today used them with powder products, but i guess they're probably to coincide with the new cream ones coming out.

true but mac brushes last such a long time. by far the best quality brushes i have used. and that's not just me being a mac fan girl! lol!

it looked quite odd, but seemed to be almost like 2 brushes in one. we'll have to wait and see if it's a gimmick or acutally any good though!

I have to agree with you Lou. I have 4 MAC brushes now and I can honestly say that they're worth the $ for makeup junkies...especially for daily use

oh yeah! i have had some of mine for many years and have been washed and used so often but still hold up great! i only had one issue with a se brush from a kit. so i will no longer buy those. but full sized ones are great!

^Agreed! I have 4 MAC brushes thus far and they have been so great!! No more SE brushes for me now. Will stick to get the full size ones from now on.

yeah i now always save up for the full sized brushes!

I do only use MAC brushes because they are the best IMO.

Of course they are pricy but they are worth it!

Tx LMD84! I really need to slow down. Let's get through the Spring & Summer collections first. Then I can start my mental madness with the Fall/Winter collections that are more for me.
