To hold me over until my NARS shipment arrives I checked out the in store Sephora BI/VIB sale (15% off) .. I noticed that they have the Laguna large tube body cream (I've never seen this before; not even on the website). Not really my style but would be great for prom I'm sure!

Order as many NARS items from Sephora that you can so you can rake up those BI points. That is what I usually do with NARS. Items that Sephora doesn't have I just order from NARS direct. They ship so fast too.

yey...i haven't been to either Sephora or MAC in two months and now I can go hauling. I think I want:

- UD Sin eyeshadow pencil
- MUFE l/s #4, #10, #34, #39
- Tarte Flush Amazonian Clay blush
- Bliss Vanilla and Bermagot body wash

Went to Sephora yesterday just to pick up some MUFE Full Coverage concealer (#14) and wound up walking out with that and...:

• MUFE Duo Mat foundation in Caramel (hot weather coming up...)
• MUFE Metal Lab Shine l/g's (pink and kick-ass silver)
• Pacifica body cutter in Hawaiian Ruby Guava

Also found out in the store that I FINALLY qualify for VIB status!

I went into the Sephora inside JCP & I only picked up Nars blush (Desire), I will be going back this week to pick up a few more items .

I went to the BI sale and my husband wanted to come to the mall with me.
He thought the ladies in Sephora were ruthless lol! He kept getting bumped. I told him it's move outta the way or be moved! ha! He found the whole experience overwhelming and ask how can you navigate through all the stuff - there is so much. He was shocked at the costs of the Tokidoki quad shadow box as it looked like it was for "kids". He seemed more at ease in the NARS aisle as it is less noisy visually. Unfortunately I only left with a Mambo eyeliner (my fav.).
I will go back though for sure. fun times .... actually it just made me miss my real shopping buddy: my mom ... I've since introduced her to NARS and Sephora: last skype she showed me her new Greek Holiday gloss that she was loving Her stash to date (my mom has way better taste than me btw): e/s coconut grove, velvet matte ls pop life, e/s bateau ivre, lg greek holiday

I recently purchased Exhibit A and I love it ! I should have been picked up that blush, I dont know what I was thinking. Im going to Sephora tomorrow to pick up a few things. So far I have purchased with Nars Desire blush, Nars Honolulu Honey l/s, MUFE DD18 lipgloss. Also I purchased the Sephora Collection lipgloss in Reflex She Sparkle & Shimmery Glowing Amethyst but I took those back. They were a pretty color but I couldnt stand the smell/taste of those glosses, they made me feel sick and lightheaded.

Tomorrow I plan on purchasing some skincare, UDPP in Eden (new packaging), I might even check out some Illamasqua since you guys (sass215, honybr) mentioned them

Damn, I forgot today is the last day. I didn't put any cash in my account. I'm not even about to head out and do it. :lol: oh, well. At least I did get one order in for the sale. Today, I received Mufe Uplight #22(Gorgeous!) and a Bobbi Brown bronzer(Dark 3). I tried bronzer only once before and that was Nars Casino which failed miserably. This BB one looks great. Can't wait to use it.

I know the sale is now over, but I was shocked to see the Kat Von D Truth palette marked down to $17 today! I have been really wanting this, but with only ok reviews I didn't want to spend $34. And 15% off wasn't too much of a discount on it, However 50% off I can handle! Now hopefully the price will go through at $17, and it isn't just an annoying site glitch. I'm a bit worried and skeptical because it isn't in the sale section.

Why is this website so enabling, and why do I love it! The Kat Von D Truth Palette has been on my wish-list since it was released, so I had to get it a half off and I didn't even realize that the newest LE KVD palette had been released so I got that as well. I'm a bit of a KVD palette whore (I have all the palettes, minus the permanent ones, which just don't do anything for me, but I am sure the collector in me will break down and purchase them anyway one of these days). I wanted to go ahead and get the Stila Fabulous in Fiji Travel Palette from last year before that bad boy finally sells out. That pushed me over $50 for free shipping. Thank goodness the latest MAC collections have been so womp because between ebay, the Bobbi Brown F&F Sale, and the recent NARS sales code I have been hauling non-stop. Lame MAC collections give me the opportunity to indulge in my other cosmetic loves. Sigh...

i only just started getting into makeup so these 2 are my first kat von d palettes. im very excited to try them out!!

oh I'm sure you'll love them!! I own two of her other palettes (I forget the names because I'm bad at remembering them) and I love them. The cream shadows in them are kinda eh.... but everything else is great.

Agreed. The cream shadows suck (I even wrote a letter to Sephora Customer Service/Feedback saying that I love the palettes but hate the cream shadows so please do us all a favor and stop including them) and while not every shade is a winner, most are great, the convience and the price are great as well, so what's not to love? I just can't seem to get enough color payoff from the Ludwig and Beethoven palettes (the two permanent palettes) so I haven't purchased them, although the time to have done so would have been last year when they were marked down.
