Well, I highly doubt it'll get past moderation but I have commented - this makes me so angry! No wonder bbgillian was reluctant to post pics (thank you so, SO much for posting them!)

I posted:
How about taking your own pictures instead of stealing others' and slapping your own watermark on them? That is lower than low! Have some respect for people's intellectual property rights!

I posted a comment there as well, I'm hoping that even if she doesn't approve them that maybe if she gets enough, she'll give credit. I can't believe someone wouldn't just give credit, it's not hard & you still get to show people the products, you're just admitting you didn't take the pictures.

Yup, even if she doesn't approve the comments I am hoping the backlash will at least make her realise she's in the wrong and needs to give credit where it's due.

i cant believe she did that.. how horrible! i agree, that at least credit should be given.. whats wrong with just writing it somewhere on the site? thats just deceitful..

I felt the same way when I first started looking at specktra & other beauty blogs, it's just a picture after all, right? But after listening to the girls here, I realized these girls put so much effort into their blogs. They go out searching for early news/products. They take the time to swatch and photograph, to upload & write reviews. Some have to support their own servers. All they want is credit, just like if you write a paper for a class. It's to share information but you want everyone to know you put the work & sweat into it. I think it's worse then stealing a purse. A purse is just an item, a material possession you bought. This is intellectual property, people's work & sweat. I really appreciate what these girls do for us who don't get products early or go out and swatch ourselves. Every blog & author have their own personalities & style, they deserve every scrap of credit due.

exactly - it's not fair to steal anything from somebody when they have put lots of effort into something. especially to then pass it off as your own. at school if you stole somebodies essay and put your name on it that is classed as stealing and cheating - and that is just what allglam has done.

It's not only the intellectual property, and that those people put a lot of work in their blogs, photos, swatches etc. You can get in some serious legal trouble posting someone elses phtotos on the net. You can be sued and possibly pay a lot of money, if you don't have the photo rights.

Exactly!

I truly didn't know how much work goes into creating blogs until I started my own. I would never steal someone's hard work.

WONDERFULLY said! It is even easier and more commendable to just put a source link instead of cropping and watermarking. I own a blog and am an avid reader of many blogs and know how much work it is to keep up with it and put information on there and as a blogger she should have respect for that instead of just plain STEALING. Do people really believe that two different quality photos are hers??

Well, she's stealing pictures all the times.... That isn't the first time!!!!
I'm not reading her blog, I dislike the way she acts.

I can't believe she would steal another person's pictures, and redistribute them without evening giving credit. smh.

*Also the MA confirmed that it'll be coming out mid June/early July...what a relief lol

All that allglam site does is copy and paste information from here, they don't even have the courtesy to credit. Look at any of our spelling errors or typing mistakes in our colors stories, they're all there too. It's sad and pathetic that the person who runs the site takes all info from various sites, but doesn't want to credit where they took it from. Shame on them for taking bbgillans' pictures and claiming it as THEIR exclusive. It's certainly not new behavior for them as I have seen that site do it many, many times. If you post pictures ANYWHERE on the internet, take the time to watermark them right over the middle!
