Yes the Blue Sheen looks pretty but I have Blue Flame, Sea & Sky MES and She Who Dare (from VV ) as well so im skipping it.

ETA : Karen blog is nice but if I based my purchases on her swatches I wouldn't buy anything . . .I dont like the way she swatches!!! However, I do give her credit for her blog becuz I know I couldn't/wouldnt want to do a blog.

oooohhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! i can't WAIT!!!!!!! i promise you they wont be crappy and even if they are i'd rather have a crappy swatch then no swatch at all THANK YOU SO MUCH! also, how's your input on the brushes since a lot of MUA's are saying that they are in love with them but I'm sure we would all love more imput thank you thank you thank you!

EDIT: Quickly glanced at Temptalia's swatches - some do the colors justice and some don't even begin to show how beautiful and subtle they are - especially Golden Glaze, Hint of Sapphire and Rare Find - these look insanely better in person - also Geo Pink is not as bright orange as that and is the nicest coral MAC's done the whole damn year. Natural Flare, the lipsticks and Blue Sheen/ Smoked Ruby are very accurate - I'll discuss the textures (which a photo can't capture), especially the MSF's and the 3 different textures of the shadows......don't worry - they all work great and don't have annoying glitter once applied.....

I know! plus i'm a pittsburgh steelers football fan to a crazy degree so i already loved the color when but when i remembered that it was the steelers colors (black and gold) then my love for golden glaze grew x100000000000000 so i must get it if thats the only thing i get (but i promise you that i will probably haul with all the eyeshadows here)

I see a handful of items that I may want. Waiting for Christine's comparison swatches and also Karlasugar's swatches (which I find to be the most color accurate) before I finalize my list.

Ah yes, Golden Gaze and Blue Sheen are super gorgeous. Rare Find is also creeping up on my list. Smoked Ruby does not look like Sex-pectations at ALL in Christine's swatches. Much more brown. Now I'm considering that one too. I have to say though, I'm disappointed that MAC didn't send her everything. I really wanted to see all of the eyeshadows, and now I have to wait longer. =/

ETA: I love how Feeling Flushed looks on Karen's swatch!
Warmth of Coral barely shows up, though... :\

Yah.... and some look cheap... like dollar store colors like unsurpassable and even hint of sapphire, rare find...
and I already see the blue one being like deep truth and smoked ruby like antiqued.... so lame cos i wanted at least 3.

oh say it isnt so. i want feeling flush and maybe golden glaze =(

sigh. i wanted to skip the eyeshadows but golden glaze and rare find looks so pretty, i dont knw if i have enough self control to prevent myself from these purchases..

WHY did I have to see swatches. UGH. Now I have a list. A small one, but still...

I think I will be needing:

- Gem of Roses l/s
- Feeling Flush MB

- Blue Sheen MES
- Hint of Sapphire MES

I will probably definately end up with the l/s and MB, but will have to see the shadows in person. They are beautiful when used wet, but honestly, as a mom will 2 small kiddos, I don't have alot of time to do my makeup, and if I have to fuss with wetting e/s to make it look the way I want, I'll likely pass.

I'm excited for the reviews. I can't quite tell what the glitter factor of the MSF's is. I think I'll end up with Rose Quartz, and either semi-precious pearl, or Crystal Pink. Rare Find is suddenly looking pretty good and trying to creep on to my list.

Agree! Cannot wait for Christine's comparison swatches! And of course, Karla's swatches.
