Christine's reviews on the eyeshadows leave me disappointed. I for sure know I want Blue Sheen, Golden Gaze, and Smoked Ruby. I really want to see her swatch Faux Gold too though, but I'll probably have to wait until the collection launches for her to get the rest. =/

Richly Revered's probably a bit more sheer.
But I'm so bleh that I didn't get a chance to buy Lap of Luxury. >_<
Maybe it's in our CCO...

I wonder how Lap of Luxury lg, from last year's Fab Felines, compares to Semi Precious's Richly Revered lg?

The only MES that I want to see a swatch is Dark Indulgence to see if it's worth it. The other MES have me disappointed. At first Blue Sheen was up my alley but I have Blue Flame MES so I'll skip Blue Sheen.

Christine's swatches are mostly spot on but she has been known to have some real misses too. I usually try to take her grading system with a grain of salt. That's just my opinion anyway.

I don't think Temptalia swatches on a base, something which for most MES is kind of a necessity. I can't wait till Karlasugar can swatch the collection, I think she usually swatches on a base

she also has swatches of the Coral blush and such which is NOT WOC friendly at all. Looks lovely in the pan though

I agree I think Karlasugar has the best swatches. I usually find hers to be pretty true to the actual color.

It used to be that Temptalia was my go to site when it comes to Mac swatches but lately I found myself looking to other bloggers for swatches. Christine's aren't the same as they used to. They seem to be haphazardly applied and her lighting is a little too bright. I noticed that the products I got because of her swatches all turned out to be more pigmented and darker in real life compared to her swatches.

After seeing all the swatches the only things I m sure I'll get are 2 MSF, Pearl and Goldstone. I changed my mind about Musky Amethyst l/s as it looks like a frost version of Love Peck that I have.
About the MES I want to see them in person but I'm not impressed...

I know right!? I really liked Clarity on VV's swatches but it totally sucked on T's swatches. Then again when I looked at the product pics, the veining is completely different on each so no wonder they look like 2 different products. I quite like the coral blush on VV even though it's nothing spectacular. I think it'll look much better on me compared to Utterly Game from FF.

I think this collection is a skip for me if I can't get to the counter once it's launched. I just have to see how these look with my sticky mineral eyeshadows primer before I can buy anything. I also got worried about possible fading after Christine mentioned what happened even when she used them wet. I have tons of loose mineral eyeshadows and some of them (the ones with not so excellent quality) fade and loose their dimension even with a stickier primer.
