I'm not much of a foundation person, just in general, but there are some blushes that are ok over foundation - a lot of the MBs, in fact, since you can apply them nice and sheer and then build them up - but yeah, I think liquid foundation is way overrated

Take care of your skin, keep it sunscreened and moisturized and try out all the cool, high tech alternatives out there - that's what I'm all about!

sunsetbeauty15 - no idea, I doubt they would put it online that soon before the due release date which is the 7th. At a most I'd say 1 or 2 days before the original launch date unless that's changed.

On another note,

Gem of Roses
One of a Kind
Musky Amethyst

^ those are all I want from SP. I refuse to buy anything mineralised due to oil and big pores. I'm trying to limit it down to 2 lipsticks though, as I also have FF to buy from on the same day (hopefully) but I can't decide between Gem of Roses and One of a Kind.. one has to go, just not sure which. :/

OK, the eyeshadows have been graded from On High as I expected. She liked the ones I figured she'd like and sort of tuned out the subtleties of application the other ones needed.

Specktrafolk - DO NOT BLEND YOUR MES except around the very edges if you must. That's an instant recipe for disaster, especially with these, that don't have a dark base to cover up blending sins.

Take my word for it - you will be able to get these colors to look insanely intense with the right application and base. When I buy them and bring them home, I will go on a crusade to swatch and photograph some examples. Or just take another look at what Princesse Beaudy was able to do with Hint of Sapphire and Quartz Fusion and compare.

To be fair, this was a huge collection and it'd take a hell of a lot of work to get reviews out fast and also give attention to detail - i spent hours writing what I've already written about the collection and I'm a real stream-of-consiousness writer just in general AND I didn't even get to go into detail about each color. I know the drawbacks of MES, but there's something else going on here with this collection that is very rewarding if you want to expand your horizons or enjoy makeup as an artistic outlet. Go to the store and check them out and try them over Big Bounce is my best advice. Otherwise stick to the sheen-only colors for ease of use.

It could be Clarity. Liba said it was a beigey colour.
Christine's Clarity has a lot more black veining than the one I sampled from that had only tiny bits of black in spots around the edges. Just goes to demonstrate what i've been saying about all the veiny colors in this collection - those veins are seriously pigmented and you can very literally get 3 totally different colors out of one pan depending on whether you avoid the veins, only use the veins or mix them together.

I did this again too and had conflicting dates some are saying the 30th and some the 7th WTF make up your minds! I don't understand why the u.k dates are so hard to obtain.

^ Me neither. However if it's the 30th I may get screwed over for getting my items. I can't buy anything until the 2nd so they damn well better not be sold out, or not put it up until the 7th lol.

Liba, I wonder how these would look over the black Big Bounce shadow as opposed to the more neutral ones.

I'll ring up a few stores tomorrow aswell - hopefully its released on the 7th in stores so I don't have to cut down my list too much!

I think my list is down to the kabuki brush, Geo Pink and Gem of Roses. I will purchase Smoked Ruby and Golden Glaze if they are available at the end of the month :)

I'll certainly try it - the black BB is quite opaque compared to a lot of them so it's certainly going to darken things up.

I've got the white, the black, Trophy, Luxury Touch (mauve), and the blue-purple and most of the other in sample size, so I'll try a variety. In the store we tried Trophy and the dark green and I preferred Trophy.

Thanks - would be appreciated. If it's released on the 7th that means it won't be online 'til the 4th I'd say at the earliest meaning I'll be able to stalk the site and get my stuff. I decided to drop One of a Kind so it's just Gem of Roses and Musky Amethyst which'll save me money, just hope it all goes according to plan.

After seeing Temptalia's swatches, I now want less MES... but more LS/LG!

My updated list:

Gem of Roses
One of a Kind
Musky Amethyst
Geo Pink
Looks Like Sin
Richly Revered
Feeling Flush
Semi-Precious Rose Quartz
Blue Sheen
Dark Indulgence
Smoky Ruby
Golden Glaze

This is definitely going to be something I decide when I swatch in person. I'm completely underwhelmed by pretty much everything on Temptalia- other than the MSFs, which I don't really want because I have ones that look pretty similar.

After seeing the swatches some more and reading reviews I can only be certain on Blue Sheen and Smoked Ruby. I'm excited because it saves me money lol.
