Yes, I fell across these last night and after some drooling at all the colours read her descriptions, made out a list of what I have and what I want, did a happy dance and prayed someone would send me a winning lottery ticket. :) Not for the faint of heart!!

So today I picked up my very first Chanel item: Rouge Allure Lacque in Mandarin. On me it's a BEAUTIFUL rosy-coral with a nice gold sheen. Lurv it.

I REALLY wanted the Lacque in Imperial but apparently it's DC'd/LE because the SA couldn't find it anywhere.

Definitely learned that I MUST swatch their stuff in person. Almost every swatch I saw online was 5 times lighter on me. Much-beloved Mademoiselle gave me zombie lips. BUT, on the flipside all the dark, vampy colors are much lighter and more subtle on me. Rivoli is more of a warm soft claret then a deep vampy burgundy. That's definitely on my wishlist.

I tried swatching more of the Rouge Allures when I went to Nordies (but they didn't have all of them, and there was no sales assistance in sight!!).

If anyone can swatch any of the following Rouge Allures: Admirable, Adorable, Desirable, Incognito, Ardent, Exquise or Romance (or is it Romantic?) -- I would forever be grateful

You are very welcome! I know some of the colours you mentioned swatched more peachy on me, which is why I did not buy them. I prefer cooler tones. But I am still trying to figure out what RA I tried on a few visits ago and now can't seem to identify and it is freaking me out. Once in the car and on the highway I looked in the mirror and fell in love with it. Too late to turn back as it was late. And now they have some colours they didn't have before (they don't carry them all, sadly) so the moved them all around and I can't find it. Aaaaaahhh!

Yes, but it is a perfect rosy red, so it does have a pink tone to it. It is the perfect Wild Rose colour to me. The kind that grows on the fences in Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket! Definitely a cool tone!

Oh no -- I hope you can find out what color that was. I know how it goes -- you will just become more and more obsessed with finding it!! What did it look like??
I usually gravitate toward cooler tones also. I think I am neutral enough to pull off peachy colors as long as there is some pink in there, too. I need to branch out as most of my lippies are peachy pink, rosey pink, light pink, nude pink . . . you get the idea. I don't have too many dark shades -- I just need to experiment to find ones I can pull off.

It was a RA and it looked like a pale pink/peach colour. I think I gravitated to it because it looked like a pinkish coral, but then in the store lighting looked a bit too peachy. Then outside it looked perfect. Exactly what I wanted. So, now I want to cry because yes, I am obsessed with finding that shade again! lol What was it???
