I caved and ended up ordering online (gulp!) a BU of SP Pearl and also MES Faux Gold. The majority of stores in my area are running low (or are out) on Pearl, so I figured I won't be able to chose my MSF anymore, but I also have a gut feeling that Pearl will be the next one gone from the website. After wearing it today, it was still pretty much flawless after 12h of wear. Too good to pass this opportunity. MAC never had MSF of such high quality (in my terms, that's low-glitter, smooth texture, natural color) that can be worn as an all over face. FG just sneaked into my basket as it is absolutely gorgeous for those with blue eyes (a true "must") and it will look great on green-eyed beaux and beauties too. Rose Quartz was not BU-worthy, IMO, as it is similar to other rosey MSF, and I am sure that MAC will always produce more rose-pink based MSF in the near future. It's my first time ever that I order a mineralize product online.

Let's hope for lots of burgundy veining and a decent-sized nipple.

I'm now officially done with SP, unless I come across any leftovers at a CCO.

So my final list is (was):

- all 4 brushes
- MES Faux Gold
- SP Rose Quartz x 1
- SP Pearl x 2
- SP Goldstone x 3
- MB Pressed Amber

It's really soft, in fact, it's much smoother than previous MSF. This also means that you use up the product much faster than a less-smooth (hard!) powder product. I never thought I would like Goldstone so much, but it's a bronzer without the bronzing effect but just a bronzey glow - if that makes any sense. I'm glad it didn't get a lot of hype when it first came out, so buying (and especially BU) was not as stressful as for other products.

I keep my fingers crossed for your online order tomorrow. I will also check the Douglas site for FF as I need a Summer Shower BU (or several)

I really like Faux Gold when I swatched it last night at Nordies & I know it would look amazing with my baby blue eyes! But, it's so similar to Spiced Chocolate e/s. But if my love, Elegant, loves it & Mac-Guy raving about it, I have a feeling I might cave next week & order it when I order my BU's of Goldstone, Pearl & Pressed Amber

I've got the Mineralize Sheersheen in Lucent which swatches pretty close to CP. As much as I love MSF, they are not very practical to store (or travel companions!), so I restrict myself to the ones which I can use as an all-over-face powder. If I only use it as a highlighter, I will never finish it, and I believe in finishing products, LOL. CP would not get as much love as my other MSF, but I might check it out if it still hangs around by the end of next week.

Re: FG vs. Brash, I think you get a more vibrant color with a foiled FG than with Brash. And it also depends how your skin likes mineralize products (how they sit on the skin) or if you prefer VP e/s. FG is more glowy whereas Brash has more depth (like most VPs).

I don't know how I've done it but after today I have now ended up with all of the MES. I was missing Unsurpassable, Hint of Sapphire and of the glittery mess that is Quartz fusion. I had to go to the Mac store today and was like, WTH I have all but these three, might as well just get them and even though it is glittery and chunky, QF was really pretty when I swatched it dry so I was like screw it. I made sure that the veining in my Clarity, Unsurpassable and Jade's Fortune was totally different from each other because when I swatched them at the store the fist time they all looked very similar but them again, the veining on those testers was similar enough. The SA that helped me was awesome, she helped me pick out the type of unsurpassable that I was looking for. She did though, also talk me into getting Goldstone, so now I have 3 of the MSF and am missing CP, so now I am wondering about that one too...lol. I don't have any of the cremesheens and I have GoR and OoaK. The awesome thing was that I finally got my Surf the Ocean stack because they had it there and I never thought to call there.

I bought Clarity & Crystal Pink & a pretty lip color in Capricious!

Clarity is so gorgeous on. I wore mine over ccb Root & applied it just up to the crease.

CP is just so pretty. I used it to highlight in a "C" shape at the outer sides of the eyes & high on the cheekbones. Love it!

I was didn't think you would end up with Clarity as I thought some people were saying it was glittery. Also in some of the swatches it looks so grey. How does it compare to Hocus Pocus and how do you find the glitter part?

if I could come back I wold probably have taken also smoked ruby, gem of roses and geo pink!!! next saturday I'll go to the store to take my dark indulgence and see what remains of the collection, but I don't think I'll find SR and so on.. I also should think about upcoming collections ......

Honestly, I was going to pass on Clarity as well, because I thought it looked like JF. But, like others have said, no one color matches with another. So it really depends on what one you pick out. Mine look nothing alike swatched next to each other.
I am really happy that I picked up Clarity & JF. I love the multi-colored glitter that Clarity has. I drool over it! I don't think it's anything like HP, but I don't have HP. Clarity has so much dimension from the glitter. Clarity is grey, but it's nothing like any of the greys I own & I have been buying/collecting MAC for 10 years. (I have a lot of different variations of the "same" color)
It really depends on what one you pick. I honestly got the best ones outta the bunch for my pre-order & when I picked up JF & GG. Just be picky with what you get if you are buying at the stores.
