hey guys i got my collection today.. really really happy,
seeing as i ordered online for everything (bar 1 msf) I am sooo exstatic, hardly any black across the board.
please let me know if you would like to see pics and I will post (the only product im unhappy w' is FG as it has NO purple whatsoever)

I went today and bought a backup of Clarity. I'm using it almost every day by itself or over other colors. I love how it transforms.
I was trying to get packed to leave for Vegas tomorrow (ah today?) and called everywhere there and they are all sold out. I found one Macys that had 3 and they cannot do presales or hold for more than that day. I called my closest counter and of course none to be had there. But another counter across town happened to have 6. I told her kind of what I wanted in it and she held one. I wanted it to be a bit different than the one I have now. I still wanted ery little black just maybe some color changes. I got there and they had pulled all 6 for me and put one aside that they thought I would like. I got one that had a little oink in it. My other one doesn't have but a couple of tiny stripes. There was one that had a huge stripe of gold. I didn't want that since I have GG. I'm still not packed but I got my backup of Clarity so yay.

I just wanted to share what my Clarity (with Rare Find thrown in) looks like. I'm so happy with what I got and am loving the fact that no one color is really the same as the other because of the veinings. My other stuff is at home with my parents. Can't wait to get them.

I totally hear you. I bought 95% of this entire collection and I STILL have to talk myself down every night so I don't go back to buy doubles of everything. Although I am over the moon about everything I bought, this is definitely a collection that has made me fear for my sanity a bit, like my passionate obsession turned the corner and went down the dark alley of obsessive addiction. It has definitely given me something to think about, and so I will probably try to take a deep breath and swap away a bunch of other items I don't "need" to make room for all the new makeup I just dragged home. I can't say that I won't go bonkers again for the upcoming fall collections, but I am definitely going to try to exercise a bit more restraint after this collection. I hope.......

What a beautiful Clarity!
I got obsessed with this e/s.
Although I went to the store yesterday to get a back up and all the mes were there on the counter, looking nothing like they did last week when they first came out. You couldn't tell which one was each, just dirt and ugly mess in the pots. I hope ours won't end like this...

at the moment i am playing a waiting game. because i work on commission i get a different amount of pay each month! keep your fingers crossed that i get a larger wage this month! that way i can buy!

This collection was initially a skip for me, but I happened by my MAC counter today, and they still had all the MES except for Golden Gaze. Out of curiousity, I swatched them, and Clarity really caught my eye. The swatch on myself reads quite greyish, but with multicoloured glitter. I actually like it better dry, because it really allows the sparkle to be the star. I ended up getting that, and Pressed Amber. I don't have many true brown/nude blushes, and the texture of this was quite nice.
Here are a couple pics of myself wearing Clarity and Pressed Amber. I just did a light wash on the lid, and applied it slightly heavier in the crease. No base/primer. Yes, there is some fallout, but it was quite manageable. I think I'll like this MES for quick looks, because it's pretty low maintenance. It can applies a bit sheer, so it can be soft, yet smokey.

lol! well i guess it should be get my staff to work hard! the more stuff they sell the more i make! i get a percentage each month of what my store made. sometimes this is good because we are busy. but then other months we are crazy quiet...That's a good motivation. "Work hard, MAC hard!"

I think Clarity is going to be my favorite eyeshadow ever. It is so versatile and just pretty!

Oh Heavens, I knew that there was NO way I could set foot in the MAC store without buying more from this collection! I went in to get Fix+ (which I ran out of today, cannot survive without that stuff!) and came out wiiiith........
Fix + (at least I didn't forget that in the midst of my mania)
A back up of Rare Find (with lots of brown, yummy!)
A back of of Unsurpassable with a huge section of purple down one side
242 Brush (thanks to whoever was recommending it a few pages back)

Pink Poodle lipglass
Whew! (but no 235 brush, dang. I really want a back up but all the London stores seem to be sold out. May have to cave and buy it online)
And I just want to say that I know I am the lone dissenter at the Clarity parade (I think it is too glittery and without enough base shimmer to hold it all together), but I just want to say that I think Unsurpassable is THE BOMB! I am trying to load swatches of my 2 gorgeous pans of it, and some swatches as well, but my iphone and computer are currently in a fight. This shadow needs more love! I find it to be SO versatile, buttery, and kind of an amazing neutral, while still being vaguely green. LOVING IT.
