This collection has just hit Australia too, I have ordered my first 3 eye shadows and 234 brush from.Canada tho... Never seem to have any luck getting what I want over here... Now I have to be patient and wait

I did Faux Gold with Rare Find today and it was AMAZING! Love that combo but I missed using Clarity.

I have unsurpassable, smoked ruby, hint of sapphire and dark indulgence coming but now also thinking of buying quartz fusion, jades addiction and faux gold to complete the collection I will use for myself

'goldstone' MSF.
'crystal pink' MSF.
'feeling flush' blush.
'warmth of coral' blush.
'pressed amber' blush.
'gem of roses' lipstick'
'musky amethyst' lipstick.
'geo pink' cremesheen glass.
I absolutely love this collection. however, i passed on the eyeshadows as some were more pigmented than others & they didn't really stand out to me, neither did the brushes really. i adore the blush & msf's the most, i'm so glad i got a chance to get them, even if i'm broke now!

Purple with peachy tones look lovely. One of my favorite combos is Paradisco and Plum Dressing or Expensive Pink and Plum Dressing.
Btw, a friend gave me Blue Sheen for my birthday next week. Is it any good? I already have She Who Dares from VV and I don't need another blue e/s. I'm thinking of exchanging it for something I really need.

just wondering...has anyone layered the style black shadows on top of these? i just had a thought that blue flame on top of blue sheen would be hot! i'm gonna have to try it out!

I've done that as well as Gilt by Association over Golden Gaze. Both are hot! Laura Mercier Black Gold works well over Golden Gaze as well.

After much debate, I ended up getting quartz fusion. I use it wet w/ primer, and it looks very pretty paired with purple eyeshadow & liner. I haven't experienced the extreme glitter fallout described in the blogs.
I also got Jades Fortune x2. One has a large amount of heavy deep blue veining, and no matter where I swatch it I end up with a dark blue shadow. The other has almost no dark blue and swatches light green with copper sparkles. I like the lighter one the best.

Quick advice needed.... The CS from my local Nordstroms just called. They are willing to pay the first $50 of a purchase today that I make with my favorite SA. I think that they are trying to get more business for their anniversary sale, which ends today. Anyway I gave CS rep the name of my favorite MAC MUA and now I need to plan what to buy. DH is working today, & I am watching the boys - so this will have to be a quick preplanned purchase. Any suggestions on what I should get?
I am posting this question in this thread b/c this is the most recent collection of MAC. I want to stay pretty close to $50. I also don't want to think about what I must have spent at Nordstroms for them to offer me this.
