MAC - Semi Precious Discussion

Totes. All my MES still look pristine because I don't use a wet brush on them, or if I do it will only be in one section where there is only one color (like a nice gold stripe in GG or the Blue in JF). I can't bear to see them get all hard packed and shiny. Try it out Piarpreet! It works wonderfully for application too...it's not just for the preservation of your shadows' beauty :)

I am officially done with this collection, at least I think I am done. I got my last package in the mail today. I am pretty happy with the items(Unsurpassable and Rare Find).
Here are my two Unsurpassable. The one on the left is the one I received today

Okay so my final haul (I will not buy more, I won't!) from this collection is:
Gem of Roses l/s
Rose Quartz MSF
Pearl MSF
Rare Find MES
Mineral Mode MES
Golden Gaze MES
Blue Sheen MES
128 brush
234 brush

I am currently the resisting the urge to get the 235, Crystal Pink, Clarity and Hint of Sapphire :/ Need to stay strong!
I am also trying to resist the urge to a buy that brush...it's hard to hold out =\

I think I'm finally done with this collection! It was initially a pass for me, because I wasn't really sold by the online swatches, but these shadows really do come alive when swatched in person! I ended up getting Pressed Amber MB, and the following MES: Clarity (backed this up, both of mine have a lot of black veining, perfect for a quick, smokey, eye!), Rare Find, Smoked Ruby, and Faux Gold. I wanted to get Golden Gaze, but missed out. :(

I love them all! Faux Gold was actually a sleeper hit for me, I skipped it initially, but it haunted me until I finally caved and back to my counter just to get that! I ended up getting two, because I couldn't decide on what type of veining I wanted. That's actually kind of sad, if you consider that MES are $24 in Canada. I'm a MAC addict!

I know some of you lovely Specktrettes missed out on Faux Gold, so if someone wants one of mine, let me know!

I got a new found love of Lush Amber l/s. It's my new fav nude. Sometimes creamy nude lippies do this weird thing to my lips after a while. I can wear LA without worrying about that

I think the reason I want to keep buying more of the shadows is that it's like a box of Cracker Jack, you just never know what you're going to get! Plus, if the veining is different, it's an entirely different shadow. Oh, and they are perfect for travel - one shadow is like having a palette of four - or even more

I demo'd the 235 today and i love it. Its perfect for putting color in the crease and up to my brow bone. I have smaller lids, so this brush covers the crease very well. The size is also better than the 239, because its larger and you don't have to keep dipping and patting color on. A few swipes in the pan and straight to the lid. I didn't even fuss with what side was what. its just applied color perfectly. I used brown script, so it works well with mattes too.
