I was a bit stunned myself when i logged on and saw it! we are always wayyy behind everyone else.

But there is a mac me over makeover tour so i think that has probably kept us up to speed for once

Oooh, cool. That was earlier than expected. Any idea if it's in store yet? I'm keen to have a bit of a play with the lady gray quad.

I don't know why I thought I was going to pass on this collection, cos right now there are like 14 items in my cart!!!!!

I am kind of at that point where I am either going to say "F%@# IT!" and buy the entire collection....or I am going to just drop it all on the ground and run away (that's what always happens to me in Ikea BTW).

I mean I was JUST looking at my stash this morning thinking "I have a problem and I need to cool it!".

Sigh. You know I'm gonna click that SUBMIT button in the next 15 minutes.....

I'm wondering if I'm out of my mind - I'm actually thinking of backing up the Lady Grey quad. I have more eyeshadows that I can probably use in a lifetime but I LOVE it. I don't use the colors together but they coordinate so well with others that I own that I'd really hate to use it up!

My fave combos so far:

Hazy Day (which is more like a light taupe than a gray) with Center Stage
Lady Grey with Bough Grey (matches my eye color nearly exactly, too)
Tendersmoke with an unnamed purple shadow from SMH
All Races with UDs matte brown shadow that I can't remember the name of right now.

Went to nordstrom, bloomingdale, and the mac store anf all the 226 looked the same. It wasnt really tapered and i just got one so that if the one i ordered comes and is less tapered ill just return it. If it ends up being more tapered than the one i bought today then ill return this one inatead. The one i got today looks as tapered as my 222 brush :-\ Also, the outre eyeshadow at nordstrom looks more yellow and more pigmented than the one i got.

I went to see the collection today! A day early, I'm so happy :D! LOL! I picked up:
Oh Oh Oh l/s
Offshoot l/s
Dark Envy f/l
Avenue f/l
Plum Fun l/g
Carbonized e/s

I was meant to get the 226 (it was the last one!) but for some reason the barcode wasn't working and so I'm going to pick it up tomorrow with everything else. I swatched all of the collection and love it! I'm sad that I didn't pick up Stunner blush though its so pretty but I only realised when was going home and saw the swatches! Although I think I would have to pack it on!

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up:
226 (maybe 2!)
Stunner blush
Peachstock l/s
Illicit l/g
and Creamy Bisque (<-----this one surprised me, it has a lovely pearly sheen)

Also does anyone have the 116? I saw it today and think it would be perfect for highlighting
oh you guys are killing me! just made my order and i skipped it so that i could buy a gloss from styledriven. when i go shopping next week i might pick it up after testing it in the store :) for now i ordered lady grey, prince noir and mythical :)
The texture and the formula seem very similar to Revlon Colour Burst l/g! The shadows though are absolutely FANTASTICAL! Seriously I can't wait to swatch everything again tomorrow although I probably won't be able to buy any until I'm done with MAC Me Over :(

Hazy Day is a really nice color and a definite must for those who are taupe-obesessed.

I agree, the first one leans correct but I purchased all of these in one order via Nordstroms. The first one has more taper than the other two, second has a blunt cut and the third one is fluffy. I'm taking these back, maybe they will have some in stock to choose from but I doubt it, but IF they do they better not give me any greif about being choosy.

instead of the evil eye quad, i'm thinking of pairing the shadows from the UD black palette with the lippies from MAC me over...what do you guys think?

Ooh I will have to try these combos! Thanks. I finally tried the Mythical & Carbonized Combo today. I really liked them together but mythical was looking too pink and I wanted my eyes a bit more coral and warmer to coordinate with my outfit. So . . . I added Faux Gold in the mix. So I had: Bamboom Paint as a base, Mythical on the lid, Faux Gold on the outer 1/2 of the lid, Carbonized in the outer V, Avenue on upper lash line. Finished with Marine Life on the cheeks and Lychee Luxe on lips.

It'll be a really dramatic look with the dark lips (or even with the softer lippies). Evil Eye quad would be a lot softer and would make the dark lips the focal point, while using the UD shadows would be a look with strong eyes + strong lips. If you mean one of the lighter lips, I think Evil Eye wouldn't be as good with them as some heavier black shadows on you, or you'd have to go to town on the eye liner along with it.

You're looking for reasons to skip the Evil Eye, right?

I am the anti-enabler, you know......

However, just to confuse things a little, I tried Dark Indulgence MES, highlighted with Industrial pearlglide over it around the tear ducts and under the eye, and it looks badass with Prince Noir. The sparkle on the eyes complements the matte finish of the lipstick really well. If you have any of the dark MES from Semi-Precious, you should check them out with Prince Noir, Smoked Purple and even Runaway Red. Bootiful.

Dark Indulgence with Industrial Pearlglide?? I never would have thought of those 2 together. Thanks.
