oooh I'd love to find some Styledriven testers soon! *crosses fingers for Nordies to get some soon*

just got back from the preview event. i only got good times lg, nothing else really caught my eye.
good times wasn't on my list but it makes for a sexy nude lip and since i'm a smokey eye girl i had to have it ;)

i'll go back tomorrow for styledriven, they did not have any testers yet..

It'll be a really dramatic look with the dark lips (or even with the softer lippies). Evil Eye quad would be a lot softer and would make the dark lips the focal point, while using the UD shadows would be a look with strong eyes + strong lips. If you mean one of the lighter lips, I think Evil Eye wouldn't be as good with them as some heavier black shadows on you, or you'd have to go to town on the eye liner along with it.

You're looking for reasons to skip the Evil Eye, right?

I am the anti-enabler, you know......

However, just to confuse things a little, I tried Dark Indulgence MES, highlighted with Industrial pearlglide over it around the tear ducts and under the eye, and it looks badass with Prince Noir. The sparkle on the eyes complements the matte finish of the lipstick really well. If you have any of the dark MES from Semi-Precious, you should check them out with Prince Noir, Smoked Purple and even Runaway Red. Bootiful.

dark indulgence+ prince noir or runaway red.... great!!!! I'll try them but only for special occasions since this combo is really bold to me!

Which one of these brushes is the way a 226 suppose to be?
is the inconsistency across products something that happens a lot with mac?

it's making me really nervous to order stuff, especially as return policies here are a lot stricter

you do have a point, great enabler! i probably will end up going with the evil eye quad over the black palette...and probably wouldn't even grab that because i have the dark shadows from semi precious but i'll probably get the evil eye quad because it's part of the look...

Hahaha, ANTI-enabler fail!

If you already own that black palette and/or the dark SP MES, you could do without the Evil Eye quad, unless you just have to have some matte shadows. I might not say that to someone pale, but you might want to check Evil Eye out on your eyes before buying - it'll probably be quite sheer without a base and/or lots of layering for your skin tone.

Does anyone know how close Creamy Bisque is to Tissueweight eyeshadow released a year or so ago? I've been reading through this thread and didn't see that asked anywhere so if it is a duplicate quesion I apologize:)

Thanks!

Loving Runaway Red, Outre, Carbonized, and Moleskin. As pretty as the colors are, I have to agree with everyone that said Evil Eye Quad's color payoff is really bad and Spellcaster is the worst. I really had to pile on that color and worked it to death! Palace Pedigreed was not much better. Such a shame.

Yup, I believe my 226 is like yours, more tapered than any of the 3 from redlily. It was very scratchy for a few months when I just got it and I asked about it here. Someone actually told me it was probably due to a few very coarse and thick strains of hair. So one of this very coarse hair dropped out after a while, and I spotted another one and pulled it out, and it wasn't scratchy anymore. You can try finding those and pulling them off.

I saw the collection today and I actually quite like the new 226 too! Mine is too tapered so hence the sweeping power is very weak. I may go back to buy it if it is still around. I find the 224 too bushy, too spreaded out at the tip. As for the makeup, I like Creamy Bisque, Lady Grey, Stunner, satin taupe, and dark diversion. The top right eyeshadow in Evil Eye quad had the worst payoff out of all the eyeshadows.

I need a blush brush. Is the 116 good or should I go with 129?

Tissueweigh is more pink than Creamy Bisque. TW has more of a shimmer finish whereas CB has shimmer plus very very fine white-ish or silver-ish (can't decide, sorry) glitter. They're really not that close.

In terms of base color and the shimmer effect Shroom is quite similar, minus the fine glitter part. Even Dazzlelight has a pinkish tint to it compared to CB.

Hope that helps!

Chester :)
