MAC Posh Paradise Discussion

I swatched and really liked these and I didn't even realise the price! Now I'm not so excited for the new paint pots... Which is good since they don't seem to be coming any time soon.

The EL ones are $19.50 CAD and MAC are now $21.00. The latest round of MAC price increases were completely out-of-line with the Canadian market. The EL ones are made in the same Canadian factory but have the Double Wear technology and I find them superior in all aspects. I have similar colouring to you and am in the same age range. I'm currently loving the shade Mochachino which is a light, cool taupe with a subtle blue shimmer. I find it a great combo with red or berry lips and I know you like those!

With all cream shadows, the problem is the limited shade range. None of the Posh Paradise descriptions really excited me but there's probably one I want. I'm going to the launch party on the 20th so hopefully they'll actually have some products to launch! If not, then at least there's free drinks

I went to the MAC Counter today and they seemed to think it was release date as usual...tho their event for this collection is on the 30th?

A lot of events seems to be scheduled waaaaaaay after the release date. In my favorite f/s store, the event for MMO was last weekend. LOL

Well there goes my tiny list! I know that it would get larger because I love bases but now as the swatches are turning up I can completely see myself with at least 4 of the paint points!!!! There goes that budget! This is my paint pot list. I'm afraid to think of what will happen once I see the mattenes.

Agreed. The colors are insanely rich and pigmented.
