Finally swatches... :) All 8 for me.. ^^ A shame the yellow and gold one seem to be problematic. The gold one reminds mé of Cham-Pale paint pots and the yellow looks sheer.. :( But I'll still get them..!

I'm surprised but I think this is a skip for me. I was interested in Genuine Treasure but not if it's sheer and glittery. I was hoping Half Wild was a bit lighter, as I have deep-set eyes with large lids and dark shadows make me look like I've been punched in both eyes. The yellow one is the only real possibility for me at this point, but I want to see more swatches.

Maybe just wait until next week then when more regular consumer have bought stuff. And for now, just order your must-haves.

I totally understand why MAC is limiting (or cutting off) their samples to bloggers, but we talked about this before...
Me not... why should MAC? I need blogger' swatches ^^ MAC shouldn't be afraid of opinions... and there are also bloggers that simply show the products and limit opinions

I would say karla sugar will prob have swatches up soon cause I think she swatches at previews/sneak peeks rather then getting samples....

HOORAY FOR PIGMENTED PAINT POTS!!!!!!!!
rasta.gif

This has been a LONG time coming.
I will probably get all of them minus Treasure Hunt and Nubile. Although I am wondering how the bright blue one (Pure Creation) will compare with Electro Sky PP from the McQueen Collex? It looks like it might be more pigmented....one can only hope!
I certainly hope Pure Creation is better than Electro Sky. I had such high expectations for that Paint Pot.

I am so happy that this collection seems to be releasing on time and that swatches have finally been revealed. With all he stress I've been going through this is giving me some joy. I just wish I knew what purple to buy.

Yes, it's a bit too late for samples, especially as Pros can buy the collection from Thu onward. I try to get to Mac tomorrow or Thu.

Nubile looks like a less frosty version of Perky p/p and Half-Violet looks like Non-comformist fluidline. These are the two I want and yet I am trying to justify them but if not them Idyllic and HyperViolet. Nubile just looks like the little work horse that could go with anything under it and maybe could bring out those light pinks/ peach on my brown skin.

I need more swatches to comfirm the 4 p/p haul. So excited.

I'm not sure how you define "honest," but I can honestly say that no-one can review 50 products in a day and give an in-depth review. Well, unless you have more than one pair of eyes, lips, etc... A lot of the new products require different techniques, tools or ways to work with them, so IMO, an "honest review" requires to embrace these changes in the cosmetic industry. And by no means I am saying that every product that MAC releases is a great product, but it is important to test it thoroughly before jumping to hasty conclusion.

Ok, time to get off my soap box.

Ok, I agree with you on that... I think it is important to understand how each product works before bashing it.
I also don't agree with shade suggestions per skin tone. It really is up to what you like on you.

~I won't get on the soap box either~ LOL

I hardly think that's what the issue is here. NONE of the U.S. based bloggers got sent samples (that we've seen), and each of them were varied in their reviews of certain products.
