well, lately MAC has been quite nice about restocking so if they see a product selling out within the first week or two of release i think they would

Ugh...I have to post the comparison swatches tomorrow. I got the indoor ones but I missed the natural/daylight to take those photos. I will post them both first thing in the morning but yes, artifact and idyllic are really really close.

I'm the same way. Only thing I ever backed up was Hocus Pocus, mostly cause I knew it would never come out again. And of course cause its amazing!

I just thought of something...I know some of you are like me and dont want Pure Creation cause they dont wear blue often, but I bet if you put a pink, or even purple shadow over it would make a gorg purple color, esp something like Stars and Rockets e/s. Crap now its on my list! lol

Really? I guess its that unique. I don't think MAC has ever done a yellow-ish paintpot. I wonder how good it is. Can't wait!
Oily lids here as well so paint pots are a godsend for me. I just started using them over either the NARS e/s primer or Lorac's Behind the Scenes. I've been using the MAC 249 brush to apply them.

Thanks for the heads up about Pure Creation ~ MUFE Aqua Cream #20. I can cross that one off of my list. And I'm hoping Treasure Hunt looks good. It reminds me of my Cash Flow paint pot from the Fafi collection that got lost literally one month after I got it.

same here...i think the only times i've bought 'doubles' is when i've lost something, or more likely (because i keep track of my makeup like a hawk) by accident...there's just too many new products to buy!

i thought maybe treasure hunt might be a bit like bamboom, from the old paints? i don't have it anymore, so i don't know for sure!

Treasure Hunt is more of a white-gold (pearl finish) rather than yellow. It just looks yellow in the promo pics, but as we have seen swatches, we know it's more of a lighter gold.

Estee Lauder's Double Wear Cream Eyeshadow in Golden Sands looks like it. I've noticed some cross-polination in the cream shadows between MAC and Estee before. They have one that's like Constructivist as well. I'll try to swatch them later.

thanks everyone for ur swatches and reviews :) I'm loving the paint pots but I still have to skip them. I was interested in Nubile (and it is a gorgeous colour) but I think Painterly is enough for me. I like a pinker base for my nude shadows and have been through 4 Painterly's so I know that colour/texture works for me. I'm not too keen on buying p/p's anymore anyway, especially since the price increase is ridiculous here in Canada....I'll prob branch out to EL instead.

The Mattenes are also super pretty, I'm loving the lavender one (I swapped my Lavender Whip coz I hate Creamsheen texture with passion, lol). I will prob get that and the nude one.

The gold (Immortal) nail polish is pretty but I have Chanel Peridot which I think is superior. I prefer Chanel n/p formula anyway and also Peridot has a teal reflection that is obvious on my nails that Immortal lacks.

Finally, hoping to see more mattene lip swatches soon... hopefully on someone closer to my colouring to help me decide.
