Prince Noir and Train Bleu both have more red in them. Potent Fig really lives up to its description (for once)- deep blue grape. It's like a much darker cousin of last year's Go For It, if that helps.

Im glad i bought fresh amour, lets see if its werable when i actually get it. I also bought the golden nail polish and it will be my FIRST nail polish from MAC!!!!
Considering all the polishes from MAC to start with, I would have to say you picked a great one for your first!

Thanks! Leaving Pure Creation alone, my guess was correct. MUFE #20 is a little more jewel tones I feel, so I don't need both.
I think I am cool with Nubile, Half Life and Imaginary. I am going to work Nubile and Imaginary together on the lids for sure! Passing on the mattenes for a few weeks. I brought a lippie from each of the summer collections. I am lippie'd out, although, Deliciously Forbidden looks amazing!
We'll see a creamier Mattene is a good thing. I will need at least one.

I am still planning on focusing on the paint pots from this collection. I really want all of them, but I am trying to narrow down my list. I am not even looking at the lippies. I don't want to be tempted.
For application, I tend to use a concealer brush to put a small blob of the paint pot on my lid, and then I smooth it out/apply it with my finger. I used to use my finger directly in the pot, but then I started worrying about the little critters that can grow in there. Yes I wash my hands but still there is that chance.

I talked to my friendly/usual MAC counter MA and she confirmed for me that this collection hasn't come out earlier for preview at her store because of
a Trend Show that happens the weekend after the launch (i.e. they are trying to promote the trend show). I notice that many of the MAC stores/counters around here
are also having events a week after the launch, and I am thinking this has to be why I can't see previews anywhere like I usually can. My friend checked the Pro store
tonight (in person) and they told her the cllx wasn't out yet and tried to get her to come to their event on the 30th lol....so ya, I think thats the reason. SUCKS tho. Hope this doesn't
become their new tactic.

That's crazy. If its online the 15th (or sooner) I would get what I want as the swatches seem pretty true and go to the store later.

I think I'll just give in and get Legendary. I might also get Delectable and/or Naked Bliss. I'm just really impressed with Fresh Amour, so I think I should have a few more shades.
