Somehow it didn't speak to me each time I swatched it, but I'm thrilled that you like it.
You have to put it on your lid and complete the look. Trust me. I hated it when I swatched it and when I put it on my lid for a test. It wasn't until I actually gave it a real go with other shadows that I fell in love. I'm surprised it sold so fast, though. It's an odd beauty. I got Mythical and Carbonized today as well as my back up of Outre. Can't wait to try Mythical and Carbonized together. It's funny though because the difference between Carbonized and Centre Stage when I swatched them together is ridiculously small. Carbonized seems smoother, more pigmented and a tiny touch darker. I actually prefer it, but there isn't a huge difference in my swatch. I do love that VP finish. I also got Blunt blush for the first time because I saw it on a WOC on youtube. What the hell took me so long? No one ever told me about it. Lovejoy by Nars is my everyday blush, but I needed something matte and this is it.

My housemates got me the Evil Eye quad for my birthday and it's lovely! I have Evil Eye on my lids and Palace Pedigreed is my blending colour in the crease. The actual crease colour is Spellcaster and using Palace Pedigreed as a blending colour does make it easier to use. I used Moody underneath my eyes and i applied a bit onto the middle of my lid over Evil Eye to give my eyes more dimension. Blanc Type is my highlighter. This is one of the first Smokey eyes i really like on me. So the quad does what i wanted it to do.
that was so nice of them! enjoy the quad!!

i tried imitating that look. but didnt have the same items.... so... i used NARS amarcord instead of artifact, and night fever instead of beauty marked (dupes as hell), cranberry, and for this item "Mschic Night Fever e/s" i didnt even find swatches do didnt know how to dupe it. So i just used a soft brown like brown down and malt to help me blend night fever.

Well Carbonized came today and I looove it! I'm not sure what was going on with the tester at the store, but the online one is easier to blend and softer.

Testers in stores are touched by a lot of people and the oils from their skin can effect the shadow. So maybe that's why it swatched more difficult.
