I have Butter London Wallis and MAC Immortal gold on the same finger and its safe to say they are NOTHING alike. Wallis is a darker tarnished looking gold and Immortal gold is more a tarnished yellow gold. Safe to say I would not call these dupes for each other. Similar yes... cousins yes... Dupes? no!
i am looking forward to getting immortal gold :) how is the wear time of it?

I can't seem to get polish to last more than 2 days without chipping. So I'm not the best person to answer that question.

legendary and rare exotic looked like old lady lipstick on me. I needed a gloss over rare exotic. I guess I'll stick to the ones i have LOL

I personally would get idyllic. Genuine treasure is a bit hard to work with. I have only used it once since I got it, which is not a good sign. I usually am obsessively using new products when I first get them. This one is EH.
I cannot decide if I want to order Genuine Treasure or Idyllic paint pot.

Pretty good for me. Almost as good as OPI or China Glaze. I'd say about 5 to 6 days. I have so many polishes and I'm so fickle, that I itch to change my color and I would probably do it every 2 days if it didn't require so much time to get it right. The only time polish doesn't last on me is when I have a pro do it. Go figure.

Finally got my two paintpots ,nubile andhalf wild, andmust admit that although i am a neutral ,i really like halfwild, put it on lid today not much cause it is very concentrated, just a little on the crease then blending with my 217,then i decided to add i believe ace from the 15th anniversary UD palette onthe crease, andlower lash, vanilla on inner corner fromthe same palette, binge UD on the water line and just a random brown to blend every thing together. Sorry for the quality of pic. these darker paint pots are really nice for fall.

I haven't been able to post since the beginning of the week! Whew! I took the boss to the MAC party. She'd never seen anything like it in her life. She tested the Matchmaster foundations and Styledriven eye shadows for me. She's actually a pretty good sport about it. I needed her because she's an NC 45-55 and I'm an NC 15, if that. We cover the extremes. The one thing that I wanted to get her to try were the paint pots, but she was in MAC overload and couldn't settle down enough. All that is background for my sincere appreciation for those of you who have taken time to swatch the paint pots. I've now bought all of them and backed up Nubile and Genuine Treasure. I'd like to get another just in case, but we'll see. I showed her the Pure Creation p/p and was telling her how I have Delft and didn't need another blue, then I looked into it, realized the potential and put it onto the list. It looks like it could work under gray pretty well, but I haven't been able to try it yet. I'm excited to try Genuine Treasure on other places than the eye. It would look good accenting cheek and collar bones - really any place that needs accenting, but glitter might migrate.

I wasn't sure where to post my question, so I thought I would just post here... If I buy a few MAC items on Macy's site, and come to find I don't like them on or don't care for the shades, can I return them to the MAC counter at Macy's even though I purchased them from Macy's online? Thanks in advance for any response!! :)

I don't know if the policy is different for cosmetics but I bought a bra online once and returned it to the store.

Thanks Copperhead and Shontay for your responses to my question! I knew I could return say, clothes, to a Macy's bought on their website, but wasn't sure about the cosmetic return policy.

Genuine Treasure and Hyperviolet are sold out on MAC's website but if you order any paint pots off of Nordstrom, your order will be backordered.

It is the only one of the PP p/p that is a bit dryer in texture and also looks drier on my lids. I prefer the texture and creaminess of Treasure Hunt. It spread like butter and you get this "I can't believe it's not butter" feeling.

I got GT to work when I mix it with TH, but on it's own, I found it too dry on me. If you have to decide between TH and GT, then I would get TH. If you get both, then you are all set anyway as you can always mix the two together in case you also find GT too dry.

It's funny that GT is so much drier, as usually the glitter p/p are the more creamy ones. Having said that, I still love both, I have BU-ed them both, and I would repurchase both.

well you will be happy to know that both were on my list! :) so i can mix them :) I shall have to play with different primers perhaps to see if that stops it looking as dry - I just want to wear it on my lids with some winged black liner for a pretty look :)
