MaryJane -- so how would you compare Famous to the Rouge Byzantin lippie? So glad to hear you liked it and picked it up! Did you swatch the pink RA? The pink laque looks gorgeous, too. I am debating the sweet beige glossimer. I wonder if it is close to my LE Muscat glossimer (my fave nude gloss in the world). Thanks for your thoughts!

QueenofSnark -- yes, I am totally doing the impatient dance LOL Chanel glossimers aren't very sticky -- you should definitely give one a try! They aren't anything like MAC lipglass. I have a glossimer layered over a l/s right now and it feels very light and non-sticky. I really wish I could see Famous swatched by Rouge Byzantin (I didn't get that one when it came out, but it is still in stock) . . .

Judging from the promo pics and descriptions I've heard of Famous RA it sounds very familiar to Byzantin RA. And considering how many times I've reached for Byzantin, Famous is an easy skip for me!

I can't get over how pretty Rouge Carat looks!

Do you think there is a dupe for Empire RAL? I LOVE RAL's and already have Ming, Santal, and Dragon....

even if there is a dupe for it, I'll still get it. RA laque is my fave lipstick formila ever and I don't believe any dupe can beat this texture. I own all the permanent Chanel RA Laques and will be picking up Empire as well

So very early this morning I order the 2 RAs. the RC np, Triomphal Extrait gloss! I'm going to wait to see the blush in person. Passed on the highlighter - for now.

I bought those new Express red pants today to wear with all of the above

(& the Victoria Secret new red & black holiday set)

Having a blast with the kids all day. We ate at this mansion restaurant that overlooked the hills & all the fall changing leaves - soo pretty.

Oh, speaking of highlighters, I saw MAC's new Snowglobe BP today & it looks really pretty. Nothing like the Chanel one, but I love the name snowglobe too. Although it did look like a pinkish pearly highlighter

Meg -- It is my goal to wear red lips a few times this holiday season! Last time I got my hair done it was a tiny bit darker than normal -- and I do love the look of red lips with dark hair. So I am going to give it a go. Just not sure if Famous RA will work -- I will just have to be brave and do it

Is the MAC holiday collection already out? I am so out of it! I thought that Snow Globe powder sounded pretty, too. And it's not $72, thankfully LOL

Crap, that review on Rouge Carat has got me lemming it now. >_> I don't have a single red nail polish yet (*gasp*), so this looks to be perfect for my first one. It's just so hard for me to justify spending $25 on a nail polish, but thicker texture + complexity = SOLD. I may even skip Enivree at this point as I'm more apt to pick a red lip to wear than a pink.

Just ordered the two RA's (Enivree and Famous) and the Sweet Beige Glossimer. I am still debating the Empire RAL. Hmm, maybe if I am good the rest of the month I can splurge on the Guerlain meteorites (next month) since I didn't get the Chanel highlighter . . .

Hmmm, glad to FINALLY see a swatch of Famous, though I'm concerned again that it's going to look exactly like Rouge Byzantin. I'll have to bring RB with me when I check out the collection in person, Then again, the swatcher strikes me as cool-toned and I'm a good 7-10 shades darker than her (same with bestthingsinbeauty), so I'm staying cautiously optimistic.

As of now my shopping list consists of Enivree, Famous, and Rouge Carat. As pretty as Triomphal is, I can't stand gloss anymore, and as for Empire I'm part of the .1% of people that doesn't love the Rouge Allure Laque formula as it's horribly uneven on my lips.

After this and maaaybe the new foundation brush, I'm going on a makeup no-buy for the next 6 months. Trying to consolidate and only buy stuff I'll consistently use.

My list has grown to include Empire and Enivree as well as Triomphal, Rouge Carat and the highlighter. I guess this will be my big haul for the holidays except for Snowglobe from MAC, the new Meteorites and Arabian Nights and G Spot from NARS. Looks like a long expensive list but is alot less than I used to buy when I first got into the higher end brands.

QueenOfSnark, I am not a fan of the RALs either so you do have a little company on here. I may give them another try for this color though, we'll see. I'm wondering if maybe Famous is not quite as cool toned as Rouge Byzantin? I can't find any swatches of RB on naturalnchicmakeup unfortunately, because I think she has really great swatches and we'd be able to compare with Famous. Hopefully Cafemakeup and/or Sabrina will compare them. I think Triomphal is gorgeous but do I need it if I have Exces and Fatale EdGs and never wear them?

I placed my order for this collection. I ended up with the highlighter (I have no willpower for products like this - so why fight it), rouge carat, triomphal, and empire. I am trying to resist the eyeshadow duo, brun rose, sweet beige, enviree, insouciance and famous. I have RB, so I am really on the fence about famous. I will probably cave & buy the rest of this list though.

I also have been thinking about the gold eyeliner, but seriously when would I ever wear that? Maybe 2x for a fancy holiday party.

April - Great list! I want G-Spot too but I've never tried a multiple before so I'm unsure how it will perform on me.

Michelle - Congrats on ordering the lippies. I'm anticipating the meteorites too, let me know what you think of it. Guerlain launches new collections very late here, so I probably only can see it in December.

I don't dislike them, really, I just never reach for reds...but in looking back at some swatches on Cafemakeup this morning I did notice that Fatale (I think it was that one anyway) looked patchy.

The website put Tweed Rose for the blush. From the looks, it seems that the gold eyeliner is supposed to be for the lower lash line or inner eye corners. Maybe that's why it looks strange on the MA who wore it on the upper lash line, as someone mentioned earlier.

Triomphal is alot more dressy looking than Exces or Fatale, which is either a good thing or bad thing depending on how many dressy occasions you have.
