MAC Early Buzz - news on products for 2012

OMG! What are cheek hues??? Never heard of it before.

 


 

They were cream blushes. They came in a squeeze tube like mac paints and they had a great range of colours. I loved dada delight and I think there was one called baroque and roll that was very popular. Their texture was fab... Creamy and subtle. I would love if they came back but in a different container- something I could put my brush directly into or use a spatula to take a little bit out... I am just not a fan of the squeeze tubes....I find them fiddley ...cheek hues in paint pot jars would be heaven to me!!!!!

I love white so I'll be on the lookout! I'm ALWAYS looking for good white and off-white eyeliners and shadows and they're surprisingly hard to find. I sure would like a white Paint Pot. Actually, I'd like 2 white Paint Pots - 1 cream and 1 frost!

Strangely enough, one of the best Big Bounces was the snow white Cool Elite. I'd always get a "oh you look so vibrant/healthy/glowing" compliment when I'd wear it. I'm good with some more sheer white eye products coming out.

what does p/b stand for and was wavy blue suppose to be a paint pot or is e/p another type of product? everything seems so cool, any chance that the new cream e/s trend palette is the one we saw in a video a bit ago (the girl said they were like unicorns i remember.....)

Extra Dimension Eyeshadow Formula - sounds interesting! I hope it comes in a regular 26mm pan instead of the big ones so I can get it in my palette

I LOVED the look of that one when I tried it but the Big Bounce formula wasn't very good for me They last less than an hour unless I layer them over a primer. I can get them to last about 3-4 hours if I use a strong primer like UDPP under them but it changes how they apply. They'll last longer and have a better finish if I put them over an Estee Lauder cream shadow and put powder over it but Estee Lauder doesn't make a white one

The old formula of Shiseido cream shadows had a white one that was awful but the new (much improved!) Shiseido formula doesn't have white. MUFE has a white Aqua Cream that was a big miss for me too. It's patchy and cheap looking and doesn't wear well.

I have a couple of nice white pencils but they were LE so I'm stingy with them.

Hopefully there will be some new whites for me to try next year!

^THIS. I can't say I'll definitely get them yet because I've been loving NARS blushes a lot more than my MAC ones recently, but I can't WAIT to see them! Modern Mandarin sounds like it'll be corally.... VERY excited at this prospect. <3

hmmmm some items with food names. I'm predicting this could be pre-prom, like SugarSweet iin 09. I would love that! I am really interested to see what collection they are going to be in either way. Some type of Coffee shop/diner/dessert collection? sounds fun!
