Yes, I got that mug earlier - mine is pink. You got some too Winthrop :) I am going there tomorrow & then off to the nice big mall.

Oh, & I thought you would get a kick out of this. The crazy Chanel lady called this morning, but I had to call her right back. She answers, tells me that she is busy, but she knows nothing about the Velvets

The lady at my Nordstrom had no idea - zero - of what a Velvet was. I had to stop her telling me about the Fall collection! Then after I tell her all about them she says "Oooooh, they sound nice" and asks if I'd like her to call me when they get them. I just said no thanks but the bubble in my head said: Uh, not really because you have me rolling my eyes and shaking my head too hard to give you my info now and I know you'd lose it anyway!

I talked to Meg briefly last week and she had a cold or the flu and was feeling yucky, but hopefully she will be back here soon. She's so much fun!

I just heard from my Chanel lady that there is a new lipstick collection coming out - not the Velvets - I'm hoping to get more info tomorrow. She said the velvets will not be on-counter until (hopefully) sometime in November. Boo. What is up with that!?

My Macys counter manager who is more on the ball than the Nordies ladies here said first week in November for the Velvets too. That's when Chanel.com will have them too (10/31) so I guess it's simultaneously being released online and in-store, unless Neimans or Saks get them sooner?

Elegant -- the girl I saw had on an orange-tinged red matte lippie with black liner. She was so gorgeous. She had the whole perfect complextion thing going on and her whole look was so pretty!
I am obsessed with those mugs. I want to order all of the colors even if I don't need every letter :)

Chery -- those mugs are the perfect "just because" present. They are cute filled with chocolates or hot chocolate packets and wrapped in cellophane.
I am still such a sucker for pinks, so I know La Caline and La Raffineee will be coming to me, too. I can't wait to hear more about them from all of you who live near a Chanel counter. And November for the Velvets -- bummer!!

Edit: Just realized I mentioned the mugs in every above post. LOL I am obsessed!

I called my Nordies to ask about holiday gift/brush sets. No pink Chanel print on anything. Plus, can't they do something new in the sets

^Funny, my mom used to always use her lipsticks as blush...probably because she had 6 kids & couldn't afford more. Actually, I think she still does it. And she nearly always used red

I talked with the new head Chanel person guy at NM in LV & I asked him if there would be an "Exclusive" NM ls shade in the Velvets & he said yes. hmmmmm What do you guys think? Will the different stores have their own shade?

Well when I asked chanel.com that they said no but I would trust the Vegas NM guy to know better! Now you just need to twist his arm to tell you the shade! Lol btw did you see Karla's post that they take visa now at all NMs?
