Did anybody get Emerville es? P.Philips used it with Fantasme in the video & I liked how it looked together.

Fantasme is a freaking glitter bomb, but somehow it remains pretty & elegant looking on.

I have Emerville. I wish it was a tad lighter by itself. I have Mirifique also and you can blend Emerville into it and get a gray shade. I did try Fantasme in the store with Emerville on top. It definitely toned down the sparkles in Fantasme. I did like it however, I just don't know if I would use Fantasme enough to make the plunge and get it.

Elegant - I have Fantasme and it is like what you said, glittery but elegant and very pretty. The glitters are very smooth so it doesn't count nearly as a glitter bomb to me, and it applies like a glaze on my skin, and when I use it over Too Faced glitter glue there is no fallout. The glitters aren't huge like UD's glittery eyeshadows eg Midnight cowboy. jmarie - I didn't buy Emerville, yet, because I wish it is lighter too.

I have Emerveille and love it over my eyelids and it also makes a great highlighter. I put it all over my lids the other day and used the Noir-Ivoire duo from the Christmas collection over it and it looked great if I say so myself! It had multicoloured shimmer and a pretty 'glowy' sheen

I was actually supposed to re-do the look today but couldn't as I was pressed for time so left with curled lashes and UD Bourban eyeliner!

it seems I miss out on all the good stuff.

I only got Epatant and Ebloui... just cause of the glitter... on my eyes, it made me look crossed.. lol

I had a Chanel associate try Epatant on my eyes. I didn't find it overly irritating, but I did find it looked very frosty. Seemed to make my eyelids look like crepe paper.

That's how mine looked when I first tried it. You have to be very light with your finger and pat it on. That way you get the shimmery effect without looking like your skin is running away from you.

Fantasme and Ebloui make a lovely combination too! Very sophisticated neutral with a kick. You can build up on the glitters and pigmentation for a night look.

I forgot that I actually had a sample of Fantasme from a very nice SA. So, I tried the Emerveille-Fantasme combo yesterday and it looked great. I only used it on my lid and it wasn't too much for everyday. My only problem was that the sparkles from Fantasme were all over my face for the rest of the day.

I apply it with the brush first and then smooth it out on the eyelid with my finger for a nice sheen, rather then 'frosty the snowman' look :)

I have Emerveille and Epatant, and they also go well together. The purple one (too lazy to look up the name) is next on my list.

I use both Ebloui and Illusioire as bases for my es.. I prefer them that way as they make the es really pack more punch.

I think I mistyped... I don't have Epatant.. it gave a greenish cast to my hair.. lol. Not kidding .. a lot of colours are no no for me now.

I apply with a concealer brush or a small taklon/synthetic brush.. and blend with a 217.. if I use my fingers, the glitter seems to stay on them and then I have problems with my contacts (which I put on AFTER I do all my mu).

LOL! I might give these a try yet. One thing I did really like was how it looked along the waterline. It gave my eyes just a perfect lustrous sparkle and it stayed for hours. It's kind of a lot of coin to drop on an eyeliner I'll only use occasionally, though. Thing is, I'm not going to know if I can make these work unless I bring one home with me and play with it. I'm tempted by both Epatant and Illusoire in terms of colour. I absolutely lovely the payoff of MIrifique, just from swatching it, but I have more sparkly black shadows than I know what to do with.

Yes the glitters stick on my fingers. I like to use the concealer/synthetic brush to apply and then the 217 too. I wear glasses so glitters sticking to my fingers is not critical. But my lens seem to be a shimmer magnet. The shimmers can jump from my eyelids to my lens and collect there, which is quite hard to get rid of unless I rinse with detergent.

Yes, it is. I saw an advert for new generation lens which claims that dust and water will not stick to it. Maybe should get these new ones!

I sometimes have the same issue - I tend to wear my glasses more often as my contacts give me more problems than they're worth - one day maybe I'll get Lasik, and then I'll only need 'cheaters' to see up close.....ah......getting old........such a joy.

oh man.. I have to cheat all the time.. I am getting blind as a bat.. but I compensate with great glasses.. lol.

my last acquisition for glasses are black vintage with rhinestone encrusted all over them !! they look amazing on, and maybe will reduce my need for glasses to see the menu.. but I still can't see enough to drive
