I reeeeeally want Violet Fatale and Casablanca.

I have been lurking on the Tom Ford line for a couple of weeks, wondering if I should take the plunge - hmmmmmm.....bet none of you is willing to enable me, right?

The collection is incredibly indulgent... it's really easy to get sucked in (and overwhelmed). I had to run away from Neiman's last week. I'm going back to pick up the Liquid Foundation again (don't judge me) because the finish is much better WHEN YOU GET YOUR ACTUAL SHADE.

Ridiculousness.

I may get a lipstick (or two... Agggrrrhhh) When I go back. I want to wear the foundation for an upcoming event... and maybe the lipstick.

This is going to be a problem.

Ummm.....yeah. I saw Karla's lipstick swatches and said uh-oh. Would love to try the foundation, but there isn't a Neiman's near me. Probably a good thing.

I just saw the gel eyeliner. I need to see it in person. Yeah... that's it. I'm sure it's acceptable for me to go see it... tonight. What? It's my birthday and I can do what I want!

Yes, you get to do what you want! In celebration of your birthday, I ordered 2 lipsticks and a quad (Indian Pink, Violet Fatale and Amber) - didn't want you to have to celebrate alone

I ended up with Black Orchid lipstick last night...

The mascara, which seems to be rather AWESOME (I tried the tester) isn't in yet.. BOO! They're going to call me when it comes in. I still need Violet Fatale, Ginger and Cherry Lush.

AND I still want the brushes. Shame on me. I also found another eyeshadow quad (the green shimmery one).

OMG.

I'm wearing the stick foundation today, and it is FULL COVERAGE and COMPLETELY WEIGHTLESS. It feels great on the skin. And Praline is a dead match for me... I don't know what I was complaining about. I think the counter lighting is boolshite, because in my mirror at home I see plenty of yellow undertones in the Praline Foundation.

I like it for sure. It's going to be my 'go to' foundation stick. It wears beautifully with no creasing or 'separation'. Definitely a keeper.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY INGENUE!!! I think you've sold me on the stick foundation. I hope I'll be able to find a match. Shades I've tried from both Guerlain and Chanel have always been a bit too dark for me. My associate told me that they'll be getting the full collection in January. For now, we just have the lipsticks.

HG- I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Flamingo. I have to admit that it's the one colour from the range that's calling me at the moment. It's exactly what I think of when I picture a perfect flamingo pink. I'd love to try it with a very light shimmery green shadow and black eyeliner. I'd probably look like an escapee from the tiki bar, but that's half the fun.

I LOVE the stick foundation. Katred these run very light, and kinda dark... took me forever to match up with Praline. I'm one of those 'in between' shades so if you're light or dark, this foundation selection would likely really work. I hope you find your shade!

I'm going back for that green shadow quad for sure...

This is a really bad addiction for me.......I wish they'd bring Pure Pink back - now THAT'S my kinda pink!!! I want a couple of the brushes, too. I must stop now.

It might take me a year (no... seriously), but I'm getting every last one of those brushes.

I love my cream foundation brush. Seriously, it's divine. It's weighted and gorgeous and an absolute joy to use.

I agree that this will be a costly addiction! I have also been eyeing the green eyeshadow quad, a couple more lipsticks, and the brushes. I am trying to pace myself though and not buy everything right away.

I think that Nordstroms and some NM still have the discontinued colors in the white packaging. I am a fan of Ginger Fawn myself. Need to find a back up for next summer before it completely dissappears.

Okay, I've been spending WAY too much time at the Tom Ford Counter. I need to be stopped! So far, it's ALL good with the exception of the mascara. I've tried it 15 different ways, and it's still bad. And expensive. And likely headed back to Neiman Marcus (when I get back there... I need to take a break from that store).

I've learned a TON of stuff about the brand, got my makeup done by a kick-ass makeup artist, and learned just how much Mr. Ford had to do with this collection (not by the folks at Tom Ford, but by a former colleague of his). I've heard nothing but GREAT things about the vision and intent behind this brand.

I'm way excited. With the exception of the mascara, and probably the blush, the collection is ALL pretty good. I still haven't gotten another brush... I think the big powder brush is next.

This is such a problem... I won't talk about how much money I've spent... OMG.
