I'm confused because aren't they listed on the site with all the other permanent paint pots?

Wasn't a MAC lover when those came out so I missed out on Fresco Rose....bummer. It really looked beautiful from the swatches I've seen.

Are you talking about MAC's site? Yes, they are listed on MAC's site with all the other permanent paint pots. The 3 pp's that were in the Lillyland collection (Fresco Rose, Bare Study and Rubenesque) had already come out in 2007. MAC just decided to include those 3 in the Lillyland collection. Fresco Rose is the only one that was included in that collection to be discontinued.

I was sad when Fresco Rose was dc'd and when Lillyland came out, it was listed as LE. I was so glad to get that paint pot and it's really pretty!

Fresco Rose IS special! Before I was even THAT into MAC, I had picked up this paint pot... Not even knowing at the time what to do with it! HeeHee. Mine has definitely gotten a little drier over time, but still works fine. I hope they bring it back too. Could use a fresh one! Although I am on PP overload right now between Posh Paradise PP and Glitter & Ice!

I have fresco rose as well. To apply my paint pots I use a little beauty spatula to scap out some product and then use the back of my hand as my palette. I have used the 194 and a cheaper dupe of the MAC 239 to apply paint pots and i find that it works quite well. I was a little too heavy handed when i first got the paint pots so the shadow would crack a little or clump.

I have used half wild with platinum pigment and it was stunning and I have also used it with My Dark Magic. Inglot have alot of nice shadows that go well with the paint pots as well because of the pearl and AMC / DS finishes of the shadows. They always seem to compliment each other well

The more annoying thing is that no one has a good dupe for fresco. I'll add it my bring it back list...whenever that comes out!

I broke down and ordered Nubile yesterday with the free overnight shipping code, and it's currently sitting in front of me. I can't wait to try it out!
