LOL, it made me think of Burger King, too!

I saw yesterday that Barry M do a black lipstick. I didn't test it out, but if anyone's looking for a cheaper alternative to Black Knight, it might fit the bill.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback :) It's good to know the cons of this lipstick to weigh it all out and think outside the hype. Personally, I wish I had more of a black gloss to blend lippies with. They're usually quite sheer to begin with, and the application - though milky at times - is a much easier breeze to reapply when needed. Right now my fav is using Oversexed plush glass over several lippies. I used Whirls & Twirls today and layered Oversex on top and it was just a great MLBB shade with a bit of shimmer and sheen. I'm really glad you provided insight so again thank you! It gives me more to mull through in time for Friday - to really decide if I would use the shade or if it would sit in my make-up stash unloved.
MUFE has a black lipgloss.

MUFE has a black lipgloss.

Lipstick Queen has a sheer black lipstick that's meant for layering too, if you don't want gloss - I haven't used that brand yet, but I used to LOVE her previous, self-named Poppy King brand. They were the best matte lipsticks way back in the 90's - not drying, massively pigmented and lots of unusual colors for the time.

BTW, M0rg3nst3rn - you look fan-frikken-tastic with the black lips and red shadow and little military cap! You need to post more faces of the day - love your style!

Aww...Thank you so much! That really helped brighten up my day. I will try to post more. I am trying to keep my camera on me so that I will make sure to do it.

I didn't get it, but loved Keri B's looks. My neighborhood beauty supply carries a black lipstick with a very creamy texture, so I just picked that up instead.

Grr. MAC's page won't let me order BK, even though it's still available. Every time I get to the final step in checkout, it throws me to the homepage. I've tried Google Chrome and Firefox, and cleared the cookies in both, and it's still doing it.

Maybe I'm not meant to have it, especially as I've never used Midnight Media

I think those would actually make a really nice eye & lip combination.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe that was MAC's idea since they are both online only and they're hoping a one day sale of BK would also increase MPP sales??

Also, quick question to everyone out here, for MAC's standard shipping it said it will be processed in 1-2 days. How reliable is this and if I ordered earlier in they day (while black friday 1am shopping) is it possible it processed then? and after it processes how long does it usually take for you to get your goodies? thanks in advance!

I live a 4 hour drive from the warehouse. If I place my order on say, a Wednesday afternoon or evening, I will usually have my box by Friday. The odd time, if I order early enough, say, 7AM, I will have my stuff the next day. This is with standard shipping. It's hard to say how busy they were for Black Friday, but as Black Knight was still in stock at 6 PM (Canada), it's very possible you'll have your box pretty quickly.

Oh, and regarding my earlier post, I was finally able to place an order. I had to make a new account to order anything.. WTF? The odd time, I can't use shipping codes and whatnot, but this is the first time I've ever been shut out. BK is on it's way to me!

Yay! Thanks for the tip! I know Urban Decay has a Perversion lipgloss that is also black, however I'm not a fan of their minty lip plumper formula, bleh

my guess is the lancome and ysl ones were LE so probably sold out but...
i think rimmel also has a black gloss.
