i think the last lipstick i 'finished' was toast of new york...in the 90's...the rest i've thrown out cuz they were old or smelly. now i just have a massive collection, i'd have to start wearing thick layers of lipstick to finish them...or at least just reapply...(i'm not very good with that...)

the opalescent lipsticks sound beautiful!

when it was discontinued. Even MAC hasn't yet done a shade like that - I was hoping Summer Shower would be it, but it was too pale. Other ones are too bright or too true blue without the greyed out tinge.
I also went through multiple tubes of another Borghese lipstick that was like a pale pink lustre with a really heavy purple opalescent shine. I get the feeling you can't even get the sort of pigments that they used to use in those 80s purple opalescent colors anymore. Pervette just doesn't cut the mustard compared to that one.

Of course, now I've accumulated so many lipsticks over such a short time that yep, don't see running out of any of them so fast.

I loved Toast of New York from Revlon. I used to use mine up so fast. I couldn't buy that fast enough back in the 90's. That was when I was in my "brown" mood for about a year. All I would wear was all kinds of browns. Ahh. memories.

the last lipstick i finished was a lollipop loving... makes me sad because i don't have many left now :(

i hope Flamingo lipstick looks similar to ever hip because i loove it. And i'm wondering how Early Bird Eyeshadow (bright coral) compares to Free to Be eyeshadow.. im guessing Early Bird might be more orange but idk. I want swatches!!! lol

this collection is going to be FABU. I love coral lippies and even tho Flamingo looks a bit in pictures like it could be close to Ever Hip, if it is like that color (maybe pinker would be okay) but a matte, I am gonna be all over it. (and I bet it is the first thing to sell out--I am calling it)

Scarlet Ibis is where I am really excited. This is a color I can get behind.

ALL of the e/s look amazing, but I am going to need reliable information about the texture. I need these to be good color payoff. I am getting so picky and entitled with my expectations for MAC eyeshadows. It is like I don't want to work too hard with them.

this collection is super pretty but i'll probably be passing, as i haven't been prone to grab my brights lately, so i don't need to buy anymore.


but on a side note, Iris totally reminds me of Edna E Mode from the Incredibles!

I think Flamingo is a lustre (not 100% sure)- the others are all mattes from what I remember.

Yeah looks like I'll be passing on the shadows too, esp since I'll be going to Sugarpill for all my bright colored eyeshadows/piggie needs. Def getting a few lippies from this though :) So my list is tiny, thank goodness cause of the Daphne and Naturally collections coming.

I did a neutral eye look today and it was so boring, so I will be trying out some of the brights for awhile. Especially lipsticks. I've been rocking dark or bright lips this season, anything else looks boring. :-D

same here
i don't need anything...but i want it all....
this collection is going to cost me a quarter of my pay unless i start cutting items off my list...so i'm looking forward to the swatches etc...it's likely that i will give the polishes and a few shadows the choparoo...
