from In the Groove collection, I use the lavender side of Hang Loose as a highlighter quite often. It's really pretty. I agree with you though, that a BP or MSF would be great. Hang Loose is probably still available from CCO or ACW.

I've also used Frozen White pigment, digit eyeshadow, etc. on those days that I want a blue or purple sheen.
I love Hang Loose, it's really pretty, nice texture too.

i think i need to try that with hang loose. i don't tend to use it that much because it's quite sheer - but the lilac as a highlight sounds so pretty!

I hope one day MAC comes out with a Lavender/silvery highlighter either in a Beauty Powder or MSF.

Absolutely! There's an YSL one that's a very lilac-y shade mixed with light pink that I keep eyeballing, but it's damned expensive. I'd rather have Mac do one.

Well, now that we are in the month of December. My impatience has taken over yet again. I am wondering when we will start to find out information on more upcoming collections for the months of March, April and May. I know we have Chen Man in March. I'm curious to see the photos and hear the color themes for those shadows.

Im drooling... lavender msf! OMGWOSH

You can certainly use Hang Loose as a light (!) all-over powder if you mix it with a more neutral MSF. Mineralize products are very versatile and you can apply them in any way you want, e.g. MSF for the eyes, Blush as an all-over-face powder, etc... Get creative and enjoy. :)

Hey all you purple blush craving people. I just saw some photos of the YSL gel blushes for Spring '12 and there is a to-die-for lavender one:

YSL's been stepping it up lately...I think I might just step in its direction for a couple of these - I love that watermelon pink on the left too.

Lovely colors and nice packaging as well. The coral and the watermelon colors look awesome. Can't we skip Winter and go right to the Spring collections?

I love gel blushes in tubes as they are so clean and easy to use, though lately I started to use the blushettes from Surf Baby again. Especially Bound for Love is gorgeous under Strada as it picks up the mauvey undertones.

Any chance we'll see these again but in the states? Why weren't they released here again?

I dunno know. I love them to death, especially for the summer or vacation time. Barbara Ann will be my favorite blush for my Caribbean vacation in a few weeks. It's easy to use and gives me the glowy and dewy cheeks that I want in sunny and tropical weather.
