I really like how it looks on the skin, and I wear it all the time since I got it.

Not jealous one bit either. The lightscapade at the store didn't make that much if at all a difference on my skin than my beigscapades! But frozen blue over beigscapade sounds like a great idea.

I'm getting anxious to see some swatches, but I know that won't be for a couple more weeks.

We are all in very serious trouble... HeeHee My Glitter & Ice products have barely seen there fair share of "face time" and we are already casting them aside for the next new thing! We must all have a makeup commitment phobia! I wish all Specktra peeps could form a community somewhere to live so we could all get excited about each others faces and enable each others hoarding tendencies... Because I often wonder if anyone else in the world cares if I'm wearing Semi Precious MES, a Fall Colour pigment, or a G&I Paint Pot except you guys! I stop by my MAC counter from time to time just to try to chat with one of the MA's about my obsession, only to have them look at me like I'm batty because I know WAY more about their products and launches than they do! I just think everyone here salavating over new lippies and shadows when we JUST ordered some is something only WE understand!
Enjoy the cravings ladies... and BTW... I MUST HAVE a Iris Aphel Party Parrot lipstick YESTERDAY! HeeHee

True. I went to my MAC counter and they only knew about items from collections that they were told about when the joined as a MA, nothing before. Nor did they remember the names of the items of items that were maybe a collection older?
Example of one of my convos [note, i had Blue Candy in my hands]:
Me: Could you please get me Royale?
MA: Which one is that?
Me: its the blue/purple from the Fall Color collection
MA: Didn't I just give it to you?
Me: No... this one is Blue Candy and its a bright blue, not blue/purple..
MA: oh... [goes looking in container]

You must have it yesterday?
I dont get it...

Anyways my MUST HAVE from this collection so far is: Flamingo L/S

Saying I needed it "yesterday" is like a joke... That I can't have it soon enough, that I want it so much I can't wait... It's just a play on words. HeeHee

And that convo sounds EXACTLY what I mean! TOO funny!
I don't mind as much when they are new and don't know about past collections, but they should at least be thoroughly knowledgeable about current and upcoming collections! One thing's for sure, if that is your JOB, I shouldn't know MORE about it than you! Haha! Guess that's what makes Specktra so great! Mutual Admiration Society!

Compleatly agree with you! I do get compliments from friends and people I talk to randomly time to time, but it's just not the same as when you put a lot of makeup junkies together to gab! I have a friend at my MAC counter, so I can talk to him a lot and he get's my obbsession ( and is ocd with staying on top of product names, release dates, ect.) and will even say (for example) "There's these new eyeshadows that as soon as I saw I knew you'd go crazy over!" and will instantly show me the book (lucky he's the manager). Only problem is that he's moving to Florida next year ( applied for a MAC job down there so he could be with family) and while I'm happy for him, I'M GONNA MISS MY FAV MUA!

heck he's the one who first showed me how to wear makeup, how to apply it, ect. sorry for the long reply, just had to get that out of my system.

And Yeah, I wanted Party Parrot yesterday....but as tomorrow comes I relies more then ever I NEED IT!

I'm pretty lucky since I've got one friend who adores eye makeup (she bought every shade in Semi-Precious) and we do gab about that whenever we get a chance.....but she doesn't wear lip or face products at all (and actually rightfully so - they don't really do anything for her compared to how well a strong eye transforms her look).

I'm luckier to have Specktrettes and Specktrites to talk about it ALL! It's a great community here!
