I've been trying to avoid buying make up for the entire month of December and I was doing fairly well until I saw the swatches for this collection. I will be able to pick this up at Pro on the 29th. However since this collection technically comes out on January 5th can I still say I've done well for the month of December?
I will be getting:

  • Early Bird e/s
  • Robin's Egg e/s
  • Party Parrot l/s
  • Pink Pigeon l/s
All the money that wasnt spent on the holiday collections will be put to far better use IMHO.

you've got a nice list there! and for the sake of the case, let's say you've done very well for the month of December ;)

I'm excited for folks to get their goodies and give us comparisons! I'd love to know Scarlet Ibis vs. Lady Danger, Party Parrot vs. Impassioned, Pink Pigeon vs. Nars Schiap, and Flamingo vs. Jazzed/Ever Hip/etc.

Woh. I dont think imma get much from this and Naturally. I'll probably only get one lippy from this. And maybe a blush and mes from Naturally. Or might even just skip both. I've spent over $200 on GP and DG combined. I really gotta slow it down, me and the hubbs are talking about maybe trying for a little one next year. Also when S3/C3 comes out that will prob be a big haul with tendertones and fluidlines coming!

I got to look at this collection today (I wasn't allowed to swatch it, unfortunately!). It looks pretty much exactly like it does in photos- much more so than other collections I've seen. The pinks really do look exactly like matte versions of Show Orchid and Fusion Pink in the tube. Pro stores will have it out next week, at least according to what they told me today, so they're back on the schedule of getting everything a week earlier than regular stores/ counters.

I love brights but I am not too tempted with this one. So far my list is only Flamingo l/s and Too Chic b/p. Bobbi Brown Nudes and Neons is calling me (and I am not usually a Bobbi gal).

I have the same list as you. I feel like I have versions of the other colours already.

I already got my IA stuff. I try to avoid ordering online as much as possible (unless for BU's when my store is sold out) :)

My tracking is saying tomorrow! (Tuesday) I can't wait to swatch the shadows for myself. Did you order anything?
